You should definitely get AMS manifolds while the engine is out. Also that blue plug where you're doing the AIV delete is your starter relay. Definitely replace it while you're in there. Cheap and easy to get to while you're there and is nice preventative maintenance.
A bit late to the video since I’m just now beginning to work on my z and wanted motivation, did you end up getting monetized? Currently watching you vacuum😂
Still not monetized 🤣🤣 that’s ok though. I still enjoy this and will keep going. If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn’t, that ok too 👍 Good luck with whatever you’re working on!!
So many delete the EGR and don’t even know what it does. What do you think it does and what do you think deleting will improve and how? Same questions with the underside Plenum coolant lines?
@@FarazXAhmed Faraz, I couldn't remember if you showed or stated in previous vids. Did you get headers for better engine exhale? I put on 2" on my na but wish I got 2 1/2" for a little more power.
@johnmichaelkarma I have a new set of twin turbo downpipes and test pipes to connect to the twin turbo exhaust manifolds I’m putting on. I mentioned it in the video I posted with all the parts however I didn’t show it because they were being shipped and I did not have them at that time
I googled. Air Injection Valves. It introduces some air into exhaust system to improve emissions at idle to keep catalytic converter working. Saw info that there is no problem deleting. Not all Z32s have it. When Faraz was showing it I was scratching my head because it didn't look familiar. Turns out the 94' year like mine does not have it
I ain't no Steven Spielburg, but if you turned the engine 90 degrees while cleaning so you're not in back and in front of it, we could have seen what you were doing.
Watching this just makes me want to LS swap my 300z all the more. So many unnecessary things added to this engine. Kudos to you for undertaking this job on your Z.
bro, even LS engines have all these systems in place in their stock locations in their own perspective cars lol, if you're gonna remove an LS engine from their own cars to swap it into a different car, you're still gonna have to do a lot of deletes on the engine. the VG30DE isn't a complicated engine to work on, you just have to know what to do. it's like this for any engine and any car you touch. most people only see the end product and think that's how they come stock lmao.
I know it seems hard but it’s actually not that bad and if you keep the proper maintenance up on the VG engine it’s really reliable plus the power you can get out of this car and the sound it makes. Yeah I would only engine swap if I had no other option.
The only time I've watched a dude vacuum for 5 minutes...and liked it lol 😆
🤣🤣🙏🏾
Congrats on 1k
Thanks!
Your right those coolant lines behind will be for your turbos dont cap them off
Love the vids man keep it up not alot of vids on zs
I appreciate it! 🙏🏾

Good advice! Thanks! 👍

But Farza-Z won't all those deletes throw engine codes? I got the cursed 96' with the blasted OBD2 😞
No codes at all 👍 having a good tune helps as well
@@FarazXAhmed thanks man I'm goin for it. Doin an NA build, all motor

I didn't know about "watch time". I let vid run. Amazing how much stuff can be removed.
Thanks!🙏🏾

Can’t do EGR deletes in California
What is AIV?
Look under ur front wheel wells and u will see it lol. Something about pushing air through to the catalytic converter.
Over engineering 🗑️ lol

Me personally I think engine swapping a Z is sacrilege.
