For those of you who are waiting for the part 3 of the minibike build - I'm waiting for some parts and I will continue minibike build next week and hopefully get a video in on upcoming Saturday. But in the meantime a blast from the past. My other videos: www.youtube.com/@DonnDIY/videos Support me on: www.patreon.com/DonnDIY Follow me on: instagram.com/DonnDIY
ON these tracks, you built, I was concerned about the weight of the materials, and how it would make the TRANSmission and engine have to work more to move it? Have you had any problems with it, i noticed it posted 17 hours ago, and its too early to tell. But it did seem it was struggling? How big was your ATV engine? But I thought it was a cool build, exciting to see other ones. Very Nice. Thank you.
My goodness, Donn, this video was made ages ago, when the workshop was still a freezing stable and the machine park rather primitive. But even in those harsh times you managed to make wonderful contraptions!
It's hard to believe that this was filmed 10 years ago Donn, but I remember it well and enjoyed it all again today. Sure have covered a lot of ground since the original build but I've enjoyed your channel every step of the way. Stay safe and keep them coming. Fred.
This(your channel especially) is what I personally prefer to watch, and no talking, just music and fabrication.. and SKILLS! You cannot beat that combo.. Just awesome! Br. jacob
I enjoyed being back in your grandfather's shop. I was tricked by the Algorithm into seeing your saw mill build a while back- so I remember this old barn- part of it was still an animal barn, I'm thinking, from some of the concrete work you had to do to get a flat floor! Today, you are still in that building; but it is warmer, it is cheaper to heat too, as well as better lit, has more tools and hard crafting gear- your grandfathers start is now your legacy. And you are about to kick the Big Butt! So, yes, I really felt good about seeing "the bad old days"- it makes it easy to see how far you have come. Fred
It’s nice to immerse yourself in the world of your old crafts and minimal, at that time in life, tools, and thank you for sharing this with us. This is cool)).
Donn and coffee, doesn't get any better. This must be an older video, the shop is dark and dingy like before he did the floor and repainted, and no Mr. Chop!!!
Oh man, blast from the past! I can't even imagine how many hours you have into this build!!! I really like your use of jigs and other ideas to speed up production. You've got some great skills and I so happy that it was videos like this that launched your UA-cam career! And don't be upset about the potato quality, it has a nice vintage feel to it my friend!
Don, you being from central Europe i would have thought you would have filmed it with a turnip rather than a potato. Edit, ps im glad you made it through the unguarded friction saw ere ALIVE.
MUY BIEN UN GRAN TRABAJO .PERO CREO Y AFIRMO QUE LAS RUEDAS INCHABLES SE BAN ARAJAR ENSEGUIDA POR LAS PIEZAS PIRAMIDALES QUE VAN DENTRO DE LA BANDA DE GOMA .POR LO DEMAS UN GRAN TRABAJO
Great compilation of an epic build. Do you still have the ATV and tracks or did you sell them? Looking forward to the next monster minibike update. Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark
I tried to build it but in the end I bought a Camso X4S. I still regret it because the quad started to overheat, the suspension a-arm broke, fuel consumption almost doubled, and the maximum speed decreased. 90% of rides can be done on wheels. here's my story
Do the tracks fit the UTV or can they be easily modified to fit it? If they do fit, how hard would it be for you to make a set for the powered log trailer?

Still a good video being from 10 years ago, i was wondering why the style was a bit different but still enjoyed it. Thanks
The music reminds me of the 90s, great video congratulations 😊
Mad respect to you sir for just the repetition of parts. Thank you for sharing Donn!
Amazing to look back. Oh how your shop, tools, methods & skills have evolved... and how much more slick your videos are!
That's a blast from the past. I had to look back to see that it was 10 years ago. Damn, i can't believe I've been watching that long.

I liked the predecessor of Mr Chop 👍
It was weird seeing you in a boiler suit right enough but a great bit of your engineering work shared

Those tracks are how I initially found your channel!
Those are just like snowcat tracks. Very cool build.
Like the "blast from the past" Donn! 👍💪✌
always enjoy the vids from my First Favorite Estonian YT Channel !
As always, thank you for sharing Donn! Nothing but respect.
The music brings me back in time! Cool project!
Always was one of my favorite videos to go back and watch. Can't believe I've been watching for so long
Heck of a lot of designing and building for those tracks. But it sure looks like they would be fun to drive... Thumbs Up!
My question is what you would never want to build because you do make a lot of good and useable stuff.
Donn and coffee, doesn't get any better. This must be an older video, the shop is dark and dingy like before he did the floor and repainted, and no Mr. Chop!!!
Agreed.. Wife is making Coffe now)
May have been an old video it’s always a pleasure to watch yours ! you work so hard to make things right

Nothing wrong with The picture quality and The music is great!
Thousands of years before the dawn of Mr. Chop . . .
There was the saber tooth tiger…
Long time back. Your skills as a videographer have really grown
Do you still use the tracks 10 years later? What a difference in your shop now. 😎👍✌️❤️🇺🇸
you have come a long way since then .. great shop in the barn and many hours and projects in the shop great worn Donn
It seemed weird to see you working in the old shop when I was used to you working in the new shop. 👍❤️📹😃
That homemade chop saw looks deadly!
Our man has a work ethic!
The old Mr Chop makes me Fear!😅 But really great Music!
Very good Work Dude!!! 🤗👌

Portable snowmobile! Very nice, stiff build. Expected better traction but snow is not deep enough.
That was awesome!👍🏻🇺🇸
Good job
I'm digging the background music

MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
Those struts look beefy enough to be used for a regular car. Maybe something to consider for a future project.

Ha! We got to see Mr. Chop #1. Lol. @8:47.
Excellent! You're the best.

00:20 Is that the Peugeot Partner that has served as a parts donor for so many of your projects?
That was the vid that made me subscribe

Awesome 👍
19:06 - mmmmrrr... Spaghetti!
This Video "Fits Like a Glove!!". 🧤 🤣 😂
...so what I' m hearing is, the part 2 of this video will be updating the tracks for the UTV? ;)
Just a few changes to the shop!
Since you still have the tracks but sold the quad have you thought of making adapter flanges to mount the tracks on your UTV?
What stops those things from the whole unit going all the way around ?
Clearly this was before he bought “Mr Chop”😂
Fabuloso el video . 💯💯👍👍
Cool!
Wider mud flaps!
👍👍👍

I imagine in a hundred years they will be studying your brain
Rey cool fab! Do the tracks fit your side by side UTV?
👏👏👏👍

Who else want to see them on your UTV?😉
Do the tracks fit the UTV or can they be easily modified to fit it?
If they do fit, how hard would it be for you to make a set for the powered log trailer?
U can make similar tracks for Homemade ATV?
I'm surprised these weren't made for that
Damn bro!
