How to make Garlic & Parmesan Risotto

  • Classic Italian rice dish slowly cooked in broth with a touch of heavy cream and Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese.
    Ingredients:
    2 cup Arborio rice (do not rinse)
    1 large yellow onion, diced
    1-2 tablespoon olive oil
    1-2 tablespoon butter
    6-7 cups chicken broth
    ½ cup dry white wine
    6 clove of garlic, finely chopped
    ½ cup heavy cream
    1 to 1½ cups Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, or to taste (I used about 1¼ cups)
    Salt & Pepper to taste
