Great video. Quick question…how did you disconnect the light green rectangular rubber air duct that connects the fan unit to the car at the rear of the glove compartment? It’s stopping me from removing the fan unit. Cheers
@@JHAMS.001-car-repair Yeah, I’ve gone in through the bonnet and almost removed the fan unit, but it’s being held in by the rubber hose at the back (that feeds the air into the cabin). I just can’t get the hose off!
@@stevew6497 As you can see, I did not remove the entire unit from its position, but only the part where the fan motor is located, to replace it, to completely remove the fan unit, it is necessary to remove the dashboard.
Understood. I feared that would be the case. I’ve seen a few other videos where they make it look pretty straightforward to remove the whole unit to replace the resistor or fan, so just wondered if they’d figured out the hose connection issue. Thanks for your replies, much appreciated.
@@stevew6497 in all the videos I make, I may skip ahead with certain stages but I don't skip important steps, there are times when I also take information from UA-cam and it seems right to me that the information I give to others is correct.
HELP.... any one knows the problem?:.... I have an 2011 BMW 535i GT... (with 21,000 miles) that no blowing air the driver side., no cold or hot air....blowing the bottom ( i feel on my foot) ... left side all the vents blowing normal. It has climate control, when I Max the air flow, (right side) after I turn off the left side, I hear the motor running.
I have different problem. On passages side on middle console comes only cold air, while on the right side comes warm (as it should when i sett it up on 22 or more degrees). Does it have separate heating elements???
Same thing happened to me last night. Appreciate the tutorial.

You don't get to open anything from the glove box, everything is replaced only under the engine hood.

Does the air condition has separate air blower from the normal air coming inside when AC is off ?
it is not just a flap that closes and opens an air duct.
Hii.. my bmw ac blower gets on and after few seconds it gets off.. then after few seconds it gets on.. was the same problem you were facing??
yes, it was exactly the same problem that the customer had.
@@JHAMS.001-car-repair okayy.. so its blower problem.. Not sensor or anything else right? I’ve to change the blower right?

Hi I am getting the same code. Was it the blower motor?

Make a diagnosis, it is possible that the opening flaps are blocked.
I have the exact same problem in my 2014 F11 touring. How similar / close is your video compared to the 2014 F11?
It’s probably just the ac blower it’s under the hood on the passenger side
Where did You get part number? My f10 is 520d from 2011
see in the video at minute 5:39.
How can I get the code, I am having the same issue. Before I do this I’d like to get the correct code.
Va referiti la codul de defect??
Nu da pe tester ca ar fi o problema in acest caz.
Great video
Top tier, thanks!
