Nothing scary about it really
Everyone is talking about how they feel sad about the poor girl, i feel bad too. But the emotion on the wounded man’s face was really good. It showed he was tired and done, he was too weak to move, and pretty much ready to just die already.
Fr the poor man was getting dragged around on the verge of death
At least he get the little comfort he deserves before dying
i dont feel bad for the girl, like at all, she probably did something similar to like 20 other guards
He had a peaceful death in his last moments because of her.

It’s a surprisingly genius way to tell a wholesome story and also build up horror and suspense.
Every scene with the girl seems to slowly build up to her attacking or turning evil or whatever, but then she does something cute and innocent instead. While the wholesome factor is obvious, that constant buildup never getting any payoff leaves you on edge the whole time without needing to jumpscare you or gross you out, much like many of the popular and well made analog horror series out there.

I think that actually kinda fits the swamp girl in an odd way
I imagine the “swamp girl” is just looking for friends to bring underwater, but most of the divers don’t really wanna be near her due to suspicion and how clingy she seems to be
It doesn’t seem like she can force anyone to come with her either as she looks like she isn’t very strong at the end of the animation
which makes me think she saw the dying diver and took advantage of him since he was in a weak state and couldn’t really do anything

literally the quality Id expect from a whole studio. so stylized and beautiful! the red stuff on the unfortunate diver doesnt seem to be blood, maybe some sort of infection from the red pools? if it is, swamp girl doesnt seem to be aware of its effects. this story is very interesting and a really unique concept!
I feel bad for the first guy, but he did get to pass feeling better.

That guy was probably beyond saving but at least he didn't die all alone, he even got to see his friend one last time.

I love the trope (if that's the right word) of something that appears creepy and malicious actually being benign.
i was honestly convinced that the little swamp girl was gonna end up turning into some rabid monster trying to kill our main diver, but im glad to see the swamp child stays a swamp child. (just means i get a punch to the feels rather than a "told you so!" to my expectations.)

Even though he was at death's door, bro still decided to be friendly towards some kind of inhuman (but cute!) swamp creature.
I really love the contrast through environment and interactions. You really did capture the first diver's desperation, and eventually hopelessness. The eye-shines were placed so perfectly you can really feel the desperation between characters. I especially love 0:17.

Description: SCP-9864 judging by the appearance looks like a 10-12 years old girl with a completely white skin, black hair and two small horns sticking out of her forehead.
SCP-9864 is extremely loyal to any humanoid entity, this leads to SCP-9864 treat them as friends and dragging into the water, accidentally killing them.
Beside of the ability to breath underwater for a long period of time, SCP-9864 does not posses any special skills. (Citation needed)
Due to SCP-9864 not being capable of human speech, SCP-9864 communicates through body language and expressions. SCP-9864 possesses the same mental capability as a 6 years old, she's capable of understanding human speech at some extent and recognizing colours. Still, SCP-9864 is completely unaware of her actions and throws tantrums when upset.
SCP-9864's first actions upon seeing a humanoid entity are as follows:
1. Slowly approach the entity.
2. Show affection by clinging to any of the limbs, consequently slowing your movement. Showing affection back to SCP-9864 results in her clinging to the person even more and making sounds of comfort.
SCP-9864 acts normally on land but will get an anxiety attack if after a certain amount of time she can't find any water source nearby, if the said source is found, SCP-9864 will enter it as fast as possible. Approaching SCP-9864 ended up with her making an intense staredown as an attempt of intimidation while backing away and dragging the corpse with her. 3 out of 4 members stepped back to see the reaction of SCP-9864 if someone approaches her alone, SCP-9864 stopped and looked at the member of the investigation team infront of her before moving towards him and clinging to his leg while making sounds recognizable as sobbing. After SCP-9864 was "disarmed", the rest of the team members picked up the corpse together with samples of the swamp's liquid for the further research. As the team moved out of the cave, SCP-9864 suddenly released herself and thrown tantrum while weakly punching the team member who was carrying the corpse. ███████ Stopped SCP-9864 by pulling her away from him and extended his right arm towards SCP-9864's cheek, SCP-9864 positively responded and nuzzled her face on his palm and calmed down, no further Incidents happened.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9864 needs to be kept in a room with a large pool 1,5 meter in depth and waterproof bath toys (humanoid shaped are mandatory), once per two days a single D-class must enter the pool to spend time with SCP-9864 for 30 minutes before leaving.
SCP-9864 herself is allowed to leave the containment and roam freely around the facility if necessary.

I absolutely am a fan of lethal company, and even if this isn't necesarely inspired from it, I just love the character and suit designs of this, and the environment that goes with it.
And the fear you can portray with only one eye and the body movement of the character makes it really impressive.
really really big appreciator of your work right there, please keep up the good stuff, and (if you want/can) make more animations on this kind of characters, and landscapes, I would absolutely love it :D

this is on of the best animations ive seen so far, the emotions, everything its an absolute masterpiece, but the way the poor girl looked really sad after the man in a diving suit passed away really made me feel bad, once again, good job!

I love it when there's a cute girl that just goes "mine" and the guys just "ok"
I'm gonna point out how unique the Low Resolution shading/lighting is
It's first one to do that and it genuinely enhances the harshness of environment in scene
They are in swamp, which often drowns people (that's why they wear diver suit i guess), but considering the wounds on one of them there's something strong enough to deal that kind of damage and probably it's the main reason why they came to this place, therefore it's sharper.
But the girl has higher definition of shading which aligns with her more softer personality.
Plus in the start, ambience aligns really well with breathing showing overall distress in wounded one situation, which disappears after touching girls hand and probably letting him survive long enough to see his colleague
I love the sudden switch in styles with your animations. it’s just amazing that you’re capable of consistently creating such different, and detailed animations. You are absolutely amazing, and you deserve so much more than what you have.
This would make for a great video game or animated series. I love it!

this is unbelievably cool, i love the sort of pixeled effect you added, it reminds me of those flash pixel horror games in the best way
the sound design is incredible too, i love the crunchy thump things in the beginning, and the very quiet splashing really adds atmosphere. also the expressions are on point, the bit where the persons eye relaxed as they died was so masterfully done

I love this kind of horror. No monsters, no grotesque scenes, nothing of the sort. It's just this unknown, unsettling feel to it.
Seeing this several times, its almost as if the guy got into an accident that left him severely wounded to the point he was dying and when he saw the creature that gave him the comfort he needed he can finally rest easy...

my theory is that the girl in the swamp didn't kill the dude, but that he was going to bleed to death anyways because of his previous wounds and that the girl provided comfort in his final moments
I don’t think I have ever seen something so wholesome like this before. Usually these types of film have a “bad ending” but the guy had a peaceful death with someone so cute and then, my favorite part, she is like, “you my friend now!”

God, I have watched this almost a dozen times already... There's so many little things to pick up on, and the animation is just so satisfying to watch?? how do you do this??? oh my god? The close ups on the wounds are so gross, without even better super detailed - and the way the little lights startle and fly away as the diver realizes there's something there. The *very* clear terror at first, then wariness and the immediate surprise - and then the cut to later on when the other diver finds the two of them, and the first one just looks so tired and drained before the light fades... and the liquid is animated so smoothly?? its so nice to watch, despite the blood color???? ouguugghhhghghh i am unwell about both this story and your art style. oh my god

It's a cool combination of two things: scary and wholesome. That's what I love about it though, as the quality is really great as well. The time spent on these animations really do pay off, these are REALLY good.
That’s one thing to keep in mind, don’t be fooled by something that looks innocent, it could just backstab you.
