It reminds me a fair bit of the early parts of Omori, with the dark reality contrasted to a charming, colorful world that still holds a hidden darker side.
It really does reminds me of OMORI too. The reality still does fade in and mix with the colorful world.

Yes, but Sunny locked himself in wonderworld cuz he have a huge guilty feeling, but according to the video it seems like this girl has some kind of sick or disability, that kept her from society and she just fall in her world, I mean its a very interesting detail that provides us a message, that she might doesnt have a choice or smth that can stop her, particularly Sunny, of course he had a huge trauma, but nobody and nothing made him to do that he done.
So, is that really the same thing?

It all seems so surreal. Like she's battling her inner demons so she creates this fantasy world inside her delusional mind where she can forget about all her issues and the cruel world, but eventually it all starts to catch up to her. I love it but it gives me the creeps at the same time.

This... Is amazing. It feels like I'm watching something someone made for one person specifically, like being let inside a tight-knit friend group, if only for a moment.
It has so many feelings attached to it, the characters, while clearly a fiction of their own kind, have so much life and care put into them, not only by the content creator but by the girl as well.
She's just along for the ride, despite, from my judgement, being the creator of the realm. She's surprised often, and is generally being messed with and is having fun.
*And everyone cares for her.*
She has a friend group, while not quite real, is better than most of us have. She cares for them too, because you don't end up with such distinct and lively imaginary friends without a lot of emotion involved. And yet, it is not enough. She is happy in the moment, but that happiness is fast to flee when the moment's gone. I'm not even going to talk about how fucking grim the real world is, how it is practically grayscale compared to the dreamscape.
She has *created* her own life, her own world. It makes her happy, and yet...
How long can she keep it up for?
(Edit: Another commenter has made me realise the impact this can have on people, so here's a piece of advice to those who envy her.
Life is a matter of luck. Every second, millions of coins are flipped. And, if your life is bad enough that you'd rather live in a world like hers than bother with real life, keep in mind that only one of those million coin flips hitting you in your favor can change your life. You can increase your odds by interacting with people more, increase your the size of your plate to collect more coins. I had a friend of mine meet their significant other, who changed their life, on a goddamn youtube comment of all things, do not underestimate the butterfly affect, but also do not lose sight of truth chasing luck.

I'd love to see this turn into some sort of Gravity Falls-esque show. Just gotta get some extra animators, some voice talent, some screenwriters, some audio engineers, and get TallyHall to sign off on making turn the lights off being the OP.
This feels like a proof of concept to a series that should exist and I hope it gets one, in an age of indie animation becoming viable I’d say this concept deserves it
it gives a vibe of "animated youtube alice and wonderland spinoff" which i kind of love. the art is amazing, and i think this needs a film theory.

This could honestly be a series.
Theory: all of the OCs were human beings, then the two evil looking guys in cloaks dragged all of them into this seemingly wonderland reality. The thing is, is that I think the two people in cloaks are forced by someone of higher ranking to capture these people, which is why one of them looks at the world with guilt at the end. Not sure about the card that was left behind though 🤔
It was probably a card for something like the lab and her own self.
I’ve been thinking that maybe the person who appeared might’ve been the exact person from Lonely Religion meme/animation. They might’ve gave the card back so that she doesn’t forget, maybe he tried it with the rest of the people we were introduced, but they all chose to forget. Maybe since we keep seeing her not as cheerful as she is, she chose to NOT forget.

This is the first video of this channel I just discovered that I watched and though I'm not entirely sure what's going on I'm so impressed by the animation style and quality! Had to read the other comments to understand more of the hidden meanings tho...along with allat this video is just so splendid. Rarely have I seen such a great animation on UA-cam-no weird stuff, no boring parts, just all-idk, the vibe it gave, it's awesome. What a wonderful animation indeed

I actually really wanted to use a similar idea for my second setting when I was writing it a few years ago, because I felt like the first one just set too much boundaries for me and I did not feel like I put all of my creative out...
But then I just said "Screw it, I don't want to go with a boring realism :D" and then I started adding more colourful characters into my first setting and it became much more cozy and rememberable. I am still thinking about the "dream world", and I basically pulled a reverse and now it is the dull one with a lot of darker colours!

Honestly, that's usually what happens with series considered masterpieces. When you just can't stand the reality's limitations and you just want to throw out all your ideas in, good writing comes from heart.

This is, amazing. I honestly have no words for lore, music, lyrics, how good it is, who they are, CHARACTER DESIGNING, this is just so amazing. You can’t just randomly do animation. You’re animation will have lore for it too be really good. I can’t put words into how amazing this is. Especially how hard animation is. You’ve earned yourself a subscriber.
You know that they didn’t make the song, right? The song is Turn the Lights Off by Tally Hall.
There is one detail I find interesting. The hooded figure and the main character share the trait of a damaged left eye. While during the shooting star segment they have a sort of.. realistic eye, at the end their eyes are similar to everyone else's. The one distinction, their red left eye. What is under the eye? A scratch (or a heavy bag?) While it's uncertain, the figure's trait of darkness, and how they seemingly loom over this world gives me the feeling they were the one to pull the main character in. Combine that with the eye similarity, and I think there just MAY be a link. Last thing to note, the hooded figure has also sustained an injury to the neck. And, does that start not look like a hospital? I don't know, I'm stupid. But still, I think they are linked somehow. Maybe a representation of depression or an alter ego, that lives in a depressed state, away from this front world, in the back of the mind only able to watch it yadda yadde links yeah cool.
i noticed the eye too. the main character went into the fantasy world and landed with the left eye closed, seemingly injured. like you said, the hooded figure also had a left eye injured, and it is suggested that the hooded figure left behind the id card for the protagonist to find, so perhaps, they might be the same person...? i don't know
(sorry for such a comment 11 months later i just rewatched this because its a gem)
The left eye of the main character has a patch because her spike pokes her eye, you can see at the start she's closing her eye because of it.

I've always had this weird feeling of nostalgia while watching this video, or if more accurate, kinda sad that we can't get into such a beautiful world, and even if we will, we'll probably forget who we are and who matters to us in the real world, as there is an id card dropped for MC to remember about her true identity.

At the end I thought it would be a newspaper that would be reporting her missing, but her ID card with "Don't forget" written on it is somehow even more troubling.
Ok that was clever at the end. She saw her true face and immediately realised who she really was, causing the dream to abruptly stop. When confronted with reality, *the illusion is shattered, and the imagination is broken.*
It could certainly be said that this world is all created by her mind, and getting her true memories forced back in by the card erased the false ones, returning things to normal....

Something similar is happening to me... And i dont know what to do except cry. It started almost 2 years ago now, something that i do is making up scenarios in my head. I copy things from real life, and visualise myself as one of my OCs, and my other OCs are hanging out with mine. I make up the wackiest, most insane, and sometimes calm, fantasies. I have maybe, hmm... Over 50. When i snap out of these fantasies, its only for a few moments because im always thinking about them. They've comepletely taken over me. When i get bored, i "chat" with my OCs in my head. I sometimes almost actually see them, with me. I dont know what to do. Im a freak. I cant escape these fantasies, and one of the many reasons why some of my friend groups are small. I end up, in real life, start doing what my OCs are doing without realizing it, sometimes in public. I dont want a therapist, either. Its like my mind itself is my therapist with my OCs, yet when im done, I cant escape.
These videos with music and fitting visuals always do well. I think I wanna animate as soon as hobby too but I don’t have time now.

You should absolutely write the entire story of what this is I want to read it. This seems so creative will many characters and i feel like you would do it justice. Like you have a lot of ideas and want to dive into them. If you make a full comic with art about this I would buy it and I feel many others would too

You know what, I'd watch this as a series over Digital Circus. Maybe I've got some bias for the song, but there's a lot of color and vibrance to the world and characters in a minute and a half than some series achieve ever.

I feel like that weird red eyed entity is something highly detested in this world because it tries to wake people up and make them remember, which is not an inherently bad thing it just wants to make people not forget who they are before they forget themselves, like a misunderstood “monster”

Also- I really would hope this is real, because, like, we all have our regretful moments, right? And we all want to forget about it; so this is very inspiring and this actually relates to some of our lives which is cool to me.

This is such an imaginative use of this song
This animation on top of this song has soo many possible interperrtations and ideas for stories, character, plot setting and more. Its really something incomparable to many pieces of art and a testament to the power of animation I'd say. Being able to give life to things that one would otherwise assume couldn't be given life (Which is very ironic considering what 'animation' can mean in other contexts)

Since I found this while looking for the song I've watched it at least 5 times. As much as I want to belive this place to be the paradise it is I know for a fact that whatever that place is is just an "other world". As some guy in college who hasn't been so much as physically contatected with someone since (I've just now realized its been over 4 years and I'm now really considering this world's offer) September in 2019 as much as I'd love to jump at this offer, I know 1 of 2 things will happen:
1. its a fate worse than death in the end
2. The world shapes you into the mental version of you as in how your mind sees yourself which it turns out if someone is lonely for too long it becomes a struggle to even remotely see ones self as human and all I know is that whatever's coming out the other end of the portal is going to look less like animator's oc's and more like some cross between a biblically accurate angel and the embodiment of Junji Ito's art style (and for some reason a top hat).
Alright, I have once again gotten too tired and commented stuff involving my crippling loneliness and me questioning the validity of my own humanity and wondering whether or not that's a symptom of something and knowing for absolute certainty that I'd never openly admit to it because I have no idea how to actually put how I feel into words and end up sounding like an edgy teenager so now I'm just shouting into the void that is the internet here and if this comment somehow gets traction on here I'm going to need to find out how to deal with this outside of doing this. If this here is the case and someone knows the name whatever could be going on please say so and if not, any tips on how to word the above in a way that doesn't sound like an edgy teenager are welcomed

animation give so much world building, story, unic character, backstory and visual clue (i forgot what it call, but it about how you can show an image with clue/hint so that you can see the story).
There so much that it feel like fan animation of story game (idk like undertale, deltarune, omori and other).

The story is something hunanity failed to make a word for because this level of quality was thought to be impossible. It is executed perfectly. This is truly the age of indie animation.
