I really like how they scale the levels. I always feel like in normal Pokémon it’s so rare to use level 100 Pokémon let alone face them. What a great touch!
I hope in gen 10, they stop pandering to litle kids and just give us back the *option* to turn on/off the things they took out. And add in the option to turn on level scaling, S/V are great games (to be clear, great games in story, characters, world, mechanics etc. not how the games were released or some other things like fashion and forced swtich mode), but imo they'd have benefitted a lot from level scaling.
Technically, you can change the starter before completing an entire run. If you go to the left, you can go to the safari zone and catch any Pokémon you encountered in any of the runs. From that, you can change your starters, which was a blessing by for me who was stuck with a Whismer who never made it past the first gym leader
Idk what is happening behind the scenes but like 8 minutes in and the editing and comedy are just top notch flygonhg material, it has me cackling all the time while doing dishes and my roommate is a *bit* concerned for my mental wellbeing

Emerald rogue is fantastic, been playing the hell out of it. Cant beleive you did a hardcore nuzlocke in it but excited to see more and all the new gens. Game gets better and better its insanely well done and the rogue + pokemon combo is just *chefs kiss*
Can't wait to see how future runs are with all the expanded region encounters, coming from playing the first 4 gens only it's been a lot to learn but very rewarding!
I don't know if you realized it after 21:43, but the girl at the left when you enter the "gym" offers to fight you so you can get the levels to reach the level cap. She only have a lvl 4 Pokémon and you go directly to the level cap
Would definitely recommend you to do a Flying Type only Nuzlocke of Pokemon X/Y Have done this recently with the side goal of the trainer aiming to defeat all the Sky Trainers to become the greatest in the world. Was an absolute blast as there's plenty of flying types to use with a range of diversity and some of the late game and gyms can be really challenging - particularly Clemont with his electric types! Overall, I had sixteen deaths in this run before completing the challenge. Standouts that did perish were Gyarados (obviously excellent), Hawlucha, Aerodactyl and a shiny Yanmega i.e. Lil Fly! (Also caught a shiny Nosepass to continue the Nosey lore haha) My final team was Crobat, Charizard, Rotom Fan, Dragonite, Gligar and Skarmory. Definitely a run to try for all the possibilities! Love your content as always!

Diddly and I were perfect together and I even brought her to the house to meet Nosey. Your half-brother really liked her and was so excited to be able to ask her about the things his mother never taught him. It was the first time since your step-mother left us that the house felt like a home. But that was weeks ago and two days later, Diddly went missing. I immediately filed a missing person report but the police said that I “can’t file a missing person report for a Nosepass” and that I was “a deep, unsettling man”. Still, I hired a private investigator who went by the name of Roadblock and he was able to find Diddly for me. Though, I wish he hadn’t. Diddly’s body was found washed up on the shores of Mossdeep City, shattered to pieces as if by some kind of explosion. I don’t know how to tell Nosey. He’s already lost so much. Please Steven. Please come home. We need you now more than ever. Love, Daddy Stone.

I actually was not expecting a letter to Steven in a romhack, but then I remembered this is still an Emerald playthrough and it just would not be the same without the letter from Daddy Stone. This and Infinite Fusions have become my obsession as of late because they are both fantastic romhacks that I can't get enough of. I loom forward to the next video as always FlygonHG and keep up the brilliant work.

Hey Flygon! I don't know if this has been recommended yet, but I would make a blood sacrifice to see you do a blind Nuzlocke of Pokemon Gaia. It's my favorite romhack by a country mile and feels the most like a certified gamefreak pokemon game.

I can't believe i beat this Game the same day flygon beat a nuzlocke of It (i wasn't even doing a nuzlocke i just sorta suck) It took me 23 attempts Btw i think not all of phoebe's mons are ghosts because when i fought her she had beautifly and butterfree

Let me tell you something - when I heard about this, I didn't get the hype. But after watching your video, listening to your praises and seeing how much fun you had, I decided to give it a go. My first time picking it up, I played 6 hours non-stop. And since then I'm still playing it a LOT. So, in short: it's awesome. Thank you for showing me that!
I've played a few Pokemon romhacks here and there and whilst all of them have been pretty fun, Emerald Rogue has been the most fun I've ever had playing one of them. It's so well designed that it feels more complete than even Gen 9 does. Massive shout outs to the creator

When I saw the footage of Skarmory being sent out, I knew the Magneton was coming in. Also, not gonna lie, I was hoping the Steven letter would be a new one, but I understand why it's best it was a repeat of a recent one.
This was really cool, I like how emerald rogue streamlines the games a lot and would love to see videos of some of the other modes available for it some time

Challenge idea: mirror match challenge! You need to match the type specialty of every boss fight. You get to choose your encounter type from each route, to avoid a softlock. But you only get the first of that type. For the elite four you can only use the mons that match the current member. Dual types are recommended. Have fun!!
