Quick Notes: This requires Windows 11, Bluetooth, and an Intel based PC. They say you also need a Gen13 Evo PC; however, I've confirmed that it works without this.
Wish my Xiaomi Redmi phone could have app windows on Windows like my Galaxy Phone. Both have the similar hardware spec.
Have all of the above mentioned requirements still not working
Have Windows 11, Bluetooth, and an Intel based PC, but still not connecting, please help, thanks

Update on this Intel Unison app. It would not work for me when you first posted this video. I tried it again today, 03-15-2023, and it works!! I have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card. Made my day!!!!😊

Fabulous!! I was unable to use the Phone Link app that comes with Windows--the Bluetooth connection between my iPhone and my PC was highly unstable--very frustrating and a waste for time to continue trying to refresh the Bluetooth connection. This Bluetooth connection works like a charm and this software is much more powerful! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! You are the best.

I stumbled upon this some time ago..and just now watched this video. I can confirm that it does work on AMD based systems (I'm running it on an X570 chipset/Ryzen 5800X.) It can be finicky to connect, often times requiring that I have the app open on my Iphone, then close the Unison app from the tray, and reopen it in order for it to connect. Once it's connected, it works very well. All the thing mentioned in the video can be done.

Great video as usual. Good job.
Been waiting for this integration for years, at the least for messaging. A word for installing and what is was perceived as a hang in the process. I had to wait quite a while (15m) for the Bluetooth pairing step but it finally went and pairing was a success. For Messages and Notifications you will have to allow permissions under Bluetooth settings. Click the Info button next to your PC device and allow "Show Notifications" at the top.
Out of curiosity, what chip do you have in your PC? I see Kevin mentioned in a different reply that it works for non-EVO intel chips (I have a 10th gen core i5, a 10300H to be specific). The PC says it's connecting, but the phone does not. I had tried force-closing the phone app and when I went back in, it had bypassed the connection screen and was sitting at the main interface saying it was paired but not connected.
I'm going to try reinstalling and letting it sit like you suggested.
....I let it run for over half an hour and still nothing. I was all set to give up when I decided to try re-starting and re-pairing one final time, but when I restarted it on the PC it went straight to the interface. It wasn't actually paired though, but it showed my phone twice in the settings. I removed them both, which allowed me to try pairing once again. This time it was instantaneous, it popped up the bluetooth pairing request immediately, and everything is now working.
Next will be to see what happens later on when I leave and come back, if it will automatically re-connect. :)

@@WilliamSteppan The Evo spec is not only the gen of the CPU, you need good wifi and Bluetooth in your PC, not sure what generation of those but probably Bluetooth 5+ and wifi 6+

Kevin, help! I'm trying to create an excel file wherein I enter a value in cell A2 from a list. In B2 I need to display a second list that depends on the value that was selected in A2, then replicate this type of function drilling down along the row with more and more data from successive lists.

Hi Kevin, I watched your videos on mail merge, and am currently struggling to have a logo signature included. I have created an email signature using the Outlook function, but this only works when sending individual emails. The signature is not visible when using mail merge. I tried copying and pasting the signature template to mail merge word doc, but this also did not work well. Any ideas on how to fix the issue? Thanks heaps!
Signatures only work in the place you approve them to work, just try creating the logo an signature without copy/paste restrictions.
Hey Kevin, we enjoyed this video with its precise and easy to follow instructions, with the following exception. We spent over two hours trying to connect my sister’s iphone to her Windows 11 laptop computer and found the photo transfer part worked, and that was it. Text messaging, phone calls, and other benefits of this Intel Unison app were a mystery. The phone kept saying it couldn’t transfer because of something in the background and kept wanting us to turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on. This was after it said the pairing was successful. We kept deleting everything and then re-loading the app on both devices, with the same result. Is there some step we missed?

H'lo Kevin/All. I have been getting 'intel unison unable to manage your phone's calls' messages. Not sure how to fix this calling issue. All other features like messaging, notifications, file transfer work flawlessly. I'm on an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz. How do you think I could fix this?

Great video and guidance - as always! 🙏 Unfortunately, this feature seems to be market dependent. I'm based out of Denmark (DK) and the apps aren't available - neither for Windows nor for iOS 😤 I guess I'll have to wait until the iOS support in Microsoft Phone Link is GA - which, BTW, I've heard is a white-labelled version of Intel Unison? Enjoyed the video. I tried Intel Unison for the first time today and it works so far, but it looks like the Messages page is no longer available. You can still send and receive messages, but now you get a pop-up menu from the bottom of the screen that doesn't include the message thread.

When I tried to link the app intel app with the phone via QR code or text, its just spinning continuously at connecting to your phone not moving forward from there. 02:37 minute
does this option need internet example if i have a 2GB video to tranfer to my comp to edit it on the computer it will takes from internet?

I’ve tried this on a W11 PC and the latest iPhone and it doesn’t fully connect (only file sharing works - kind of). I believe you need the Intel Bluetooth driver for it to work properly.
There is an intel troubleshooting doc available which also recommends deleting any existing phone link on your PC (under bluetooth devices) and also unlinking your PC from your phone if it’s linked. Do all of this before trying to pair.

Do notifications cross sync, that being if viewed on one device, it will dismiss the notification (show as read) on the other (linked) device?

Hello Kevin! I have a problem. When I press the letter "x" on my keyboard nothing is written on the screen so I have to press fn+x everytime I want to type it. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Anyone else reading please answer.
