I've been using Intel Unison between Win11 and iPhone for a couple of weeks. It was unreliable for bulk file transfer as the process would freeze mid way if a large number of - say photos - were selected as source. I switched to using the Windows Photos app iCloud integration and found it worked perfectly. However, I judged unison superior to phone link for notifications, especially if you need 2FA notifications. Unison will pass these. Phone link will not (in my experience). Maybe it's a deliberate security thing but I'd love to have 2FA codes delivered to my PC. If you're a Windows user and you want slightly better iphone integration then I suggest running MacOS in a VM - but it's not everyone's idea of a solution. Windows integration of IOS is clearly deliberately handicapped by Apple. But from a marketing point of view: Is it more likely that, An iPhone fan will switch from Windows to Mac in order to gain integration, or.... A Windows fan will switch from iPhone to Android in order to gain integration? Apple need to open it up.
You just compared the 2, didn't say which one is better. If you're going to talk about a program, please link them in the description or pin a comment with such links, thanks.
I think that KDE Connect is better just for the privacy it offers alone. It lacks features compared to unison and phone link but i am willing to give them up for privacy. Was worth a mention
If you want to Phone Link to Android, MS Account is required, and your Android will need to be linked to a MS Account. Nope for me. I fail to see the need to connect to Internet and MS Account just to transfer information between two local devices that are within range and required to be on the same Wifi.
my next celfone is not from apple for sure these 2 apps are not 100% compatible like android fones; these 2 apps good only for normal texting without any fancy stuffs like group chat, sending fotos, etc...just not sure why apple doesn't cooperate with Microsoft 100%...
@@KrAOLo iPhone doesn’t work well at all with Phone Link and as I haven’t upgraded to windows 11 yet as when I upgraded on another computer I was experiencing a lot of bugs intel unison doesn’t work on my computer

Was bout to comment that😂
I like unison, as it can trigger mobile phone call from PC. A lot of easier to do automation.
