The possible Viper changes worry me a bit as the job is brand new and hasn’t even had a run through challenging content to fully battle test it. The thing with tanks losing aggro is definitely a problem I noticed immediately as I started off by leveling Pictomancer. It reminded me of running dungeons back in 2.X where Paladins struggled to hold aggro as they only had flash and you often had to single target down groups whereas Warrior could just pull the whole dungeon with no problems.
I had noticed the monk changes. You don't need formless fist anymore to start your rotation. I thought it was just a bit weird but I didn't realize the consequences. As a fan of shadowbringers monk, I'm not a fan of removing positionals.
I hope that the potency changes to Black Mage *will* affect the gameplay. For example, in AoE, if you end your fire phase with an instant Flare Star, it's stronger to use Freeze *twice*, Transpose despite the clipping, and then cast HF1, rather than using High Blizzard 2 like normal. I feel like HF2 and HB2 will get some potency increases to address things like that, though I suspect HF2 will still be about swapping states rather than spamming.
They shouldn t nerf picto in potency they should just buff the other jobs potencies to match pictos dps... also why nerf viper it is perfeclty fine job as is, honestly people cant stop qq in the forums, they want to be mouth fed everything .if they want slower or easier jobs they should play summoner imo...
Also, Pictomancer does NOT need to be nerfed. As with every expansion, the new jobs are the benchmark that the other jobs are measured by as they were designed specifically for this expansion. SE also chose to buff it from media tour to the live game which furthers my thinking that it is doing what they intended for it to do minus the bug.
They seem to have the same syndrome reaper did in the beginning of last expansion. Yes picto aoe is DISGUSTING. But on single target it seems to even out.

The only change I want on Viper is for death rattle to be 5y and/or be unbroken by the ranged attack. Everything else is unnecessary.

08:59 SMN's demi summons don't do damage but they still draw aggro. I expect it would be similar to that
I did not know they did. Maybe they could indeed implement it similar like that.
