Exactly the tutorial I needed for making the bottom of the Marilyn Monroe halter dress! Thank you! I was having the same issue with the lines not being straight with a circle skirt, but didn't want a strait skirt so this was amazing. THANK YOU

Thank you for this. My concern now is, if I'm attaching this to a bodice to form a dress, how do I go about it?
Should I use my regular waist measurement (bodice waist) and then hip measurement at the hem plus fullness, or do I need to mark the hip line as well....

Good evening, I'm using a non pleated fabric so my plan is to use my waist measurement multiplied by 3 then send the fabric to get pleated professionally ( we don't have an already pleated fabrics ) and use the zipper afterward so it can pass my hips is this a correct way
