Same could fina anything on how to handle accordion please with a circle skirt pattern. I'm going to have to do a floor length skirt with a full 2" V at the bottom but At least that will be the only hair pulling I'll be doing. lol

Just a quick question about the hem. The hem is not straight and i noticed that on the pleating video as well. Is that because you pre hemmed the skirt before pleating?
The bloke suggested a pin hem because it works with the pleats better so that’ll probably be why

The skirt is really nice and enjoyed the video on the pleating process. Love the rich dark green. Question...did u not use any interfacing or a stiffener lining of any kind? I really think that waistband needed it. Otherwise its just going slide down and bunch up with wear and wouldnt be the best look. With the very crisp and structure of the beautiful pleats a crisp structured waistband would be in order. Just a thought mine you not a criticism.😊

The skirt was cut and then pleated. The final step was sewing it all together

In the previous video she talked about, the man said polyesters are better for pleating. You can use other fabrics though. Its just a matter of the longevity I believe.

Really beautiful skirt. Sorry about the irrelevant question, but what is a good alternative for the overlock machine? Can some technique produce the same result?
you can use a zig zag stitch along the seam allowance

@@koh8614 there is something called an overcast foot for a regular sewing machine that can help. Won't be as good a serger but it helps.

I want to make like this. How many meters help me to make it? And the circle skirt that you suggested. This is i should use to cut the fabric when i need to make skirt like a video or use the normal fabric 2 meter whithout using any shape when i cut it?

I use about three metres my skirt.
What I did was cut a full circle skirt with had a waist measurement with two inches extra(for the side seams which is where your zip will sit). Then I divided my skirt into two because the pleat studio can’t pleat a full circle skirt in one go.
The studio recommends polyester fabrics if you want permanent pleats that will last after washing and all.
