How many meters is needed for the fabric ?
I used 60 width, how many meters/yard depends on your preferred length

So glad you love it! Thanks. Yeah, the pleats are 1cm wide but I use inches so it's 3/8 of an inch, pretty much the same.

What if its gone after washing
I recommend that you do these pleats with a small cut of the fabric first then wash it, that's what I did as I'm not familiar with all kinds of fabric that this method would work for. For Georgette and chiffon, this will usually work. I'd worn and washed this and it's still a pleated skirt 😊
