This engine gave a code for the coil but if you have a potential slight misfire that's difficult to duplicate, look at the freeze frame data for engine running time. I've seen many coils that start and run fine when cold but after an hour or two they get hot and start to breakdown then. 👍
... great presentation as usuall... was more interest in this post... been having the same problem on both cars... problem is that it persists after tine -up... the misfire always occurs on a hard acceleration to pick up speed from slow,l or to increase speed at speed > 60... otherwise, gentle acceleration from low to high is ok.... this means it is difgicult to accelerate to overtake or change lanes quick... the sudden acceleration causes it to stall... that is when the check engine , flashing tyre pressure and traction lights come on... the car loses speed and acceleration.... turning the car off and restarting returns it to normal... for one who takes driving serious, it is frustration to drive like one handling an egg, lest it breaks... no one seems to be able to solve the issue... enjoyed watching the work being done.
