We had a UK version of Hells Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, but we also had this American version too. The American version is much more "Hollywood".
Our version doesn't have all the dramatic music, sound effects, and weird camera angles and zoom ins
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
Ours aren't versions.
Like the majority of reality shows, ours are all originals.
This show is called Hells Kitchen USA, and the American version of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is called Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares USA.
And how the camera zooms into the customers faces to see their reaction
American one is better by miles.
When he said get fucked and you lost your shit that was the best 😂
There's one thing about the English they sure know how to swear !!!!
Italians are pretty good at it too .
I highly recommend watching the late 90s documentary on Ramsay called Boiling Point. It's fairly long if you can find it, but man - because it's his own restraunt and reputation at stake it makes his hells kitchen and kitchen nightmares persona look like a children's TV presenter. Definitely one to watch!
We had this in the UK. Me and my wife used to watch it religiously. Funny as f**k 😂. “Over cooked on the bottom, crispy as fuck and it looks like Gandhis flip flop”
Classic
Man, your laughter makes this clip 10 times funnier.
I tend not to worry about Ramsay yelling at contestants becuase... well, it's Gordon Ramsay. They know what they signed up for!
Yeah they knew what they signed up for.
But in the moment, with over 50 people listening in the back, cameras that will put this on TV, i can understand why some people can't take that pressure.
Usually when you work in a kitchen A. The Chef is not a screaming lunatic. B: The Kitchen is not visible for the guests. C: No TV show that will put this out there for all the world to see.
I think most of them would function well in a normal setting.
You need to watch the UK TV show called "Bad Lad's Army". You'll laugh your head off seeing the antics and insults surrounding the old 1950s British Army discipline versus young dudes and louts.
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
I too had a good time with this show. Good recommendation
Great idea! - an interesting and funny program and really worth seeing and reacting to!
“I must not laugh on parade, I must not laugh on parade!” (While still laughing!)
We had a U.K. Hells Kitchen with Marco Pierre White. He’s more passive aggressive than Ramsay but walks around with a large knife 😂
The first series of the UK version was actually fronted by Gordon, not Marco.
Wasn't Marco's was Celebrity Kitchen Nightmares
@@tommym5023 Marco did series 3 and 4 of Hells Kitchen, and celebrity MasterChef Australia.
" My body told me to come back " 😂😂😂
I actually have a lot of respect for the guy who said “no I don’t” when asked if he had what it took. I appreciate the honesty.
Given how much you like Gordon Ramsay i would suggest adding Gordon, Gino and Freds Road Trip to your list. There is 3 series and im sure you would love it.
I love the way the americans are so positive , then spend all the time stabbing each other in the back , and being surprised when their team does the same , that's what makes it funny
"Kitchen nightmare" & "hotel Hell" are two of his great shows too. He basically goes to restaurants/hotels that are struggling & tries to help them
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
Yeah... to mixed results 😂
Hotel Hell*
Oh god not hotel hell, Robert and Ari with their RV in one episode
@@baronsionis6855 thanks for correction👍
The UK version of both Hells Kitchen and also Kitchen Nightmares has nowhere near the amount of drama, music and camera switches as the US version
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h UK TV tends to be more down to earth and relatable. US TV expects things to be about exaggerative spectacle.
@@ProPuke Yeah, pretty sure that was their intended point, but allow me to thank you on their behalf for your totally fucking unnecessary elaboration!🤣
@@carlhartwell7978 Cheers. Just doing the good work :P
He still called people donkey a lot in Kitchen Nightmares, though. And Marco Pierre White was even more difficult to please on Hell's Kitchen.
This show, generally gives all contestants 5 to 8 day "Boot Camp" to Whittle down the "Best Contenders without Gordon knowing who he's got as his 2 Brigades to run the kitchen on Service Nights. Then the FUN and INCOMPETENCY ensues.
The over-editing and the music makes it all the more funny. Like that snare drum roll/fill just before he explodes at Milca or when he finds a raw bit of salmon and the violins start kicking in. 😂
Yeah we had UK version before US version
The UK contestants were much less forgiving, and very often challenged him on the spot. No wonder he preferred across the pond 💁🏻♂️
You and Queen Boomer would love the animation someone has made from these clips, so damn hilarious
We in the uk did have a version of Hell’s Kitchen but it was Marco pierre white (Ramsay’s mentor) who did it
Ramsay did it too, as did Gary Rhodes
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
Yeah Ramsay definitely did it too - I distinctly remember one UK episode where the kitchen was so disgusting he had to go outside and vomit by the bins! 😂
Your reaction was hilarious 😂😂
Man your laughs are freakin hilarious and contagious .
I'm laughing at Gordon Ramsay cussing his a!s off and your reactions so hard that I almost split my pants !
Great stuff man !
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
I remember we had a Hells Kitchen in the UK but it was celebrities (in the loosest sense of the word).
Yeah, I remember Marco Pierre White took over after the first series. Also, that woman out of Coronation Street slapped Gordon, lol
@@jockster247She TRIED to slap Gordon but he blocked it like a ninja!
Is that the one where he said to Edwina Currie..."First you sh*g the Prime Minister - now you're sha**ing me, from behind !" (??)
Loving the new intro 😂👍
Chef Ramsay has VERY HIGH STANDARDS, and if you constantly fail to meet them ... "THERE'S THE DOOR .... YOU MUPPET"
Higher standards than "still half frozen" for sure
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h💀
You should see Schieffer Bates' impressions of Gordan. They're absolutely insane!
The amount of tea towels he must go through must be immense.
Loving the Dwarf run...I'm a lifetime fan of the show and you have it down to perfection..lol
While watching this, there was a thumbnail for a short that says "Cousin Boomer makes an appearance"... Before I read the text I thought it was Guillermo Rodriguez 🤣
We had american and uk versions of hells kitchen over here in the🇬🇧
The uk version of Hell's Kitchen had british celebrities in the kitchen. One series with Marco Pierre White as Head Chef (Ramsey trained under him and Marco famously made Ramsey cry during service) and another Ramsey. He had Edwina Currie( ex Conservative government minister) as one of the contestants and his put down when she messed up (paraphrasing): " you have no standars, you have no commitment and you have no integrity. You had an affair with the Prime Minister (Allegedly)and screwed him and now you're trying to SCREW ME" 😅
I'm like you King B, I love his melt downs 😂
This was a fab Ramsay reaction, KB.
I think you'd really enjoy the UK series of Kitchen Nightmares. The interactions / arguments between the restaurant owners/head chefs and Ramsay are the stuff of comedy legends. Also the show will make you quite hungry. ♥😋🍽
27:00 Feisty one she is. 😅
"YOU TRYNA CLOWN ME CHEF!" 🤣Recommend checking out some of the "Kitchen Nighmare's" some of them are horrendous!😂
Go back and watch the full elimination of Nilka (Season 7). Even though the beginning is intense her departure is actually quite sweet.
That intro made me lol.
Gordon being angry for 33 minutes video is hilarious
I remember this version of the show being shown in the uk for sure
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h I don't care for the opinions of bots.
Hells kitchen and Ramseys kitchen nightmares started off in the UK then moved to the US and we got the US version as well. The first couple of seasons of the US, people screwed up a bit, but not as much they do in the later seasons. Even the UK one didn't have as many screw ups as the later seasons of the US one. But it's funny to watch.
I really want King Booker to watch all the Raj moments on Hells Kitchen if he hasn't already.
Raj was certainly a character lolol
We had both uk & u.s
Loving all the recent Gordan Ramsey vids they’re always funny to watch
If i remember right, the first season of hells kitchen uk was gordon ramsey, and then after it was marco pierre white who taught gorden ramsey
I think we had a UK version but we also had the US version which was on regular tv.
Basically ANY programme Ramsey does,we in the UK get it on our TV’s
Hells Kitchen in the U.K. was teams of celebrities instead of amateur cooks. Gordon Ramsey was the first solo chef and then Marco Pierre White took over, celebrities were eliminated by public vote. I do remember a version with 2 teams of celebrities with 2 separate celebrity chefs, I think that was the original, it was 20 odd years ago.
We also had Kitchen Nightmares, the British HK and KN don’t have the dramatic music and camerawork.
At least that last guy could admit to himself he wasnt cut out for it.
Have you ever tried Withnail & I? I don't know if it's too particularly British but I reckon you'd like it and I reckon you'd get it.
We did have Hells Kitchen, it started as a celebrity show with Marco Pierre White (another angry chef),
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
It started with Gordon Ramsay...
Just like every other show.
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h I apologise, id completely forgotten Gordon’s one series,
Can I just say: I live in the UK and yeah, Hell's Kitchen was here on ITV2. Still is.
Ramsey learned his trade under the great Marco Pierre White. I remember a group of us being invited to a tasting menu in London at a one of the best restaurants the main was Kobe beef it was explained about the process & optimum cooking & tasting of such an expensive piece of meat. The shock was when a customer complained he didn't like his meat underdone & demanded to see the chef what followed was a shock the famous chef came out threw the customer out telling him we have no time to waste on barbarians with the pallet of a Hyena!
Here in the UK ... Chefs kinda "Look Down" on front of house staff ... The running joke, always seems to be .. you can teach Chimps to serve tables, but NO Chimp has ever won a Michelin Star.
i'm surprised there was anyone left!!
We had this and the British version both f_%&/d up 😅
We had Celebrity Hells kitchen worth a watch king boomer.
Is that Millie-Bobby Brown at 18:47? Before she had to keep getting her head buzzed for Stranger Things.
You should react to the unedited versions of the show they have on youtube
Aye, we had Kitchen Nightmares and Hells Kitchen in the UK with Gordon before he took them to the US. They weren’t nearly as crazy and dramatic as the US versions, and Gordon wasn’t as psychotic, but of course US reality telly demands HIGH drama so Gordon obliged. I gotta admit, though, that they are helluva entertaining 😂
Mind you, I remember one episode of Celebrity Hells Kitchen in the UK where a well-known soap actress here (Amanda Barrie) was so put out by Gordon she tried to slap him in the face! The speed at which he blocked it was truly impressive, the bloke has lightning-quick reactions ⚡️
Hell’s Kitchen began in the US with Gordon RAmsey. There was Hells Kitchen UK, that aired after the US version. That was with MPW.
Hell's Kitchen started in the UK with Gordon Ramsey, only the contestants were celebrities. The format was popular, so Ramsey took it across the pond and started the US version. MPW was Gordon's replacement on the UK version.
We had the US version and a very short lived UK version fronted by a different chef.
Worst day ever?... Be a diner patron on Hells Kitchen, get food poisoning, go to the hospital... and get seen by Dr. House. 🤣
As a chef i use this as a warning: "if you don't stop fucking up im gonna throw a Ramsey" 😅
There was a new series of HK on ITV2 last night, didn’t watch so can’t confirm if it was new or still Gordon but guess we get it over here
New season of Hells kitchen has just started. Get watching 😂😂
We had both, and yes 90% are genuinely that incompetent
Hoping for Coupling & Mischief Theatre
Ah yes, Gordon Ramsay on a calm day 😂
Need to get me a T-shirt with You Donkey and What is that on it. That would be hilarious
He said he thinks the Scot in him helps his foul language but I've got English family that can curse up a storm!
A quiet night in with a lobster.
Have you reacted to ‘snuff box - the boyfriend sketches’ ?? (A compilation from a Matt Berry show)
Rubbery scallop guy obviously did think he was going to win because he bought a suitcase large enough for 6 months worth of clothes.
In the USA show, people don't normally mess up (or to the level) you see on most of these clips. In fact, the level Gordon Ramsay kicks off on someone is related to what he expects of them based on where they are etc. Its why if you see him with kids cooking, he doesn't get angry since they're kids so they're already doing great. On the other hand with adults he'll tend to focus his insults on just the food, or on people making wisecracks when he points out how bad they've been... but as each season goes on he gets more angry as people make mistakes because he's expecting more the closer to the final. There's likely also a regret side of this as well, since the closer to the final you get - the more when someone majorly messes up he's thinking he's maybe sent a decent chief home in place of the donkey cooking in the kitchen.
Love it when Boomer laughs so hard he has to get up and walk it off
Even though this is the US version this isnt the version that aired in the US as in the US version they beep the swearing. This is the US version that gets shown in the UK with all the swearing left in.
Hells Kitchen is a real, high end restaurant owned by GR so he is extremely particular about the food that goes out to guests. They pay a lot of money to eat there. Also, he is training/ selecting an executive chef to run one of his restaurants at a pay of 250.000 a year. He has calmed down a bit in the recent HK series. Probably on Drs orders.. I love the show and watch it every year.
You should do a video reacting to Raj from Hell's Kitchen, you'll definitely enjoy that
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
We had a UK version but it only had a couple seasons long ago and yeah we get the US version the same time the US gets it
nothing worse than not having duck garnish
We had Kitchen Nightmares, we do get this show if we go out of our way to watch but it's for dramatic effect.
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h We also get American movies too!
I'm pretty sure the very first season was in the UK but everyone after that was in the US. All these chefs are suposed to be proffesionals.
If Gordon goes on like this he's gonna have a heart attack.
yep. I worked with a guy like that and yep he had a HA recently
Or a brain aneurysm
Destroyed…he didn’t get to where he is by taking shit..love him or loath him Gordon takes no prisoners 😂
Dude your new intro, looks like your about to square up to someone lol
Gordon Ramsay is nowhere close to having a heart attack any time soon, that guy is fit as an ox. He's a former professional footballer and he still exercises on a daily basis.
GET OUT!😂
Louie's elimination was definitely the best
6:25 There is a UK Hell's Kitchen, but the format is entirely different. It was teams of celebrities and the atmosphere is much more light hearted. I'm pretty sure that the producers get 2 or 3 decent chefs, and a bunch of buffoons to fill the rest of the spots for entertainment. It's usually extremely obvious who the finalists are going to be within a couple of episodes.
I'm recommending, since KB has given up on Peep Show, you react to Robert Webb doing the Flashdance for a charity telethon.
lmfao, Boomer; you KILLED me with this video
27:00 ❤❤
another brilliant reaction, please do some more Lee Evans if poss
You’ve gotta watch Joseph’s elimination from season 6. It’s amazing
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h very funny and well done for a “staged” moment
We had both versions. He tends to be a lot politer in the UK. I think the American version made him ham it up a bit for ratings. In the UK he seems will definitely give them a hard time (plenty of insults) but in the end he tends to sit down with them more and talk it all through more.
You will find that Gordon's shows had a UK version first and then a US version after. We get both. The difference is in your US version they beep the swearing and the US version we get over here they don't beep the swearing they leave it in. As for the contestants, some of them are useless and just there to make up numbers for the show. 🍻
They also remove the word USA from the titles, and...
They add the word UK to the originals...
Leaving Americans in their ignorant bliss as usual, thinking they created them.
Really? Haha. Just before reading your comment, I was thinking that the language seemed too strong for US TV! So I assume all these clips were sourced from the UK broadcasts...
@@danielgardecki1046lol. But to be fair, it was never "Hell's kitchen USA", it was just "Hell's Kitchen" also. - The USA was tagged on for our benefit
it was said that the producers of the show kept the contestants of a very low amount of sleep to make them mess up more. If it is true then its understanable how so many people just shut down and contatnly made mistakes.
@@user-yz6lb5pt8h dear oh dear......
Hells Kitchen has just started again in the UK, I'm also a chef and I can say Gordon isn't like this out of the kitchen, most of us can only tolerant asking someone too do something our way a few times, after all they're supposed to be professional chefs, who quite often come in with the big I Am attitude, there's one in series 22 on ITV2 who I'd have taken down a peg or two in the first programme, he'll come unstuck very soon, and I'm also a Executive Chef and older than Gordon and been in the industry longer than he has as he started as a football player
The UK version of this show generally was less violent.
We had both
the last guy should be offered a lower position to work up from, kudos for the honesty and self knowledge
Gordon Ramsey tried various other jobs before becoming a chef, it's where he learned most of his catchphrases.
Kindergarten teacher showing flashcards: "What the f is this?"
Midwife: "Get out!"
Lion tamer: "It's f-ing roar!"
Funny !
When I first joined my regiment I met a bloke like this , thought he was scary as fuck , he was big brash and loud , eventually learned he just hated incompetence and if you actually listened to him and ignored all the swearing and bollocking, he would start to respect you , learned everything from him , he'd never admit to liking anyone but eventually the shitstorms would pass once he trusted you
