Most people end up doing nothing the whole day as no one trust kids to run their business. Most people find it pointless but some people get genuine opportunities for their future.

Regarding the short tie : In our secondary schools when we were made to wear ties we would all make them as short as we could as it was the "cool thing to do" Don't ask me why we all just did it perhaps to rebel against looking our formal best? both guys and girls did it and the "nerds/brown nosers" (Like Will here) would always have their tie done properly, at the very least they were judged for having their ties done correctly haha

Boomers, this might just be your best reaction yet! I absolutely loved watching the pair of you completely lose it over this episode - especially at Simon's facial expressions while he was being w*nked off at the party. The pair of you had me in tears here.
I'm loving rediscovering this show with you. I watched all seasons here in the UK when it was first aired and enjoyed it immensely, but watching it again through your eyes, I honestly don’t know how they got away with some of it. It's literally some of the best TV ever and it’s so outrageous.
I remember the shop-floor banter when I started my first job, and it's so accurate here. One of the guys was very lazy, and the manager said he needed some "elbow grease", which is slang for working hard. He sent him off down the street to the hardware store to get some. What surprised us all the most was that he came back with a price for it!
This show is absolute dynamite. I’m British, and probably biased, but we have some of the best shows. Think of a line, and we’ll go right over it by a country mile. Watching you both experience this is literally the highlight of my day. Can't wait for the next one, you Muppets!

Also, you had to carry your backpack with one strap, being a "two strapper" was grounds for merciless bullying. I have friends now in their 40's that where so well conditioned to do this that they still carry backpacks with a single strap!

Haha, great reaction! This is probably the best representation of school in the 90's (I was there then)...Yes we used to wear our tie short, just to piss the teachers off!! We all do 'work experience' just to give you some time and idea of what you're getting yourself into.. most had to do it for free (slavery 😂) poof and poofter are the same thing! 💙

the reason for the short tie is because in UK high schools we have clip on ties (for safety reason, ie, not get choked or get caught in anything when doing certain subjects like woodwork, some kids have been killed because of that safety hazard) and what some kids do is break it off the clip and tie it the normal way which ends up making it look super short around the neck.

The writers of Inbetweeners Damon Beesley and Iain Morris losely based the series on their own adolescent lives ( but obviously pumped up a bit!).
Great watching you and Queen Boomer enjoying it so much. It's still pretty extreme even for British tv and is still the best in the last 20 years..... Or ever!
..... Series 3 and 2 films to watch - you won't be disappointed.

I always had a proper length tie, with the perfect knot, but my top button was also always undone and the tie was loose rather than being pushed right up.
It was a constant struggle, whenever the teacher noticed, they’d have me adjust it.

Been waiting for you to react to this, been checking twice a day! One of the greatest comedy programmes England has ever produced! Shame it only lasted as long as it did, you have to check out the films the first one is definitely better than the second. I know you only like reacting to 10 or 15 minute clips and these are obviously longer and with good reason but you need to do the films too once you have watched all of the series.

Work experience is a wonderful thing. I somehow had it in my stupid head that working in a bank would be a splendid idea. WE cured me of that - they send the teachers a report at the end - "motivation was suspect" written on mine. Yeah you don't say...
