Why feel bad for someone who is ruled by emotions? She could’ve applied the pressure or whatever she was feeling and use it to focus on her task and not mess up anymore. Instead she dragged her feet, slowed down, and started to get careless, and sent out raw food TWICE. She was more focused on “I gotta get something out” that she stopped paying attention to the little details.. like simply cooking something all the way through

Robin was going to go home eventually, but Nilka nobody expected her to go from 100 to -100 in 1 service.

Ariel confirmed this on Twitter but it's hard to shake off.)

At least Robyn has *some* small ups to her performance. Her initial start was bad, and her performance in the finale was one of the major obstacles Benjamin had to overcome, but she did have improvements in the middle. Jen was just all around bad, there was no point of her returning.
It's pretty much the expected formula for this show to be fair. He brings on at most maybe half a dozen serious contestants, and the rest of them are unwittingly just there for the sake of making the show entertaining. You'll find you can even quickly pinpoint most of the ones who are going to be in the finals by the way they get little-to-no screentime in the opening episodes (mainly because they aren't making mistakes)!
I don’t think it’s Gordon so much as it’s the producers. The producers think drama makes for good television, unfortunately to many people in this country think that way. Just look at the differences between Gordon’s UK and US shows. It’s night and day between the quality with the UK shows being so much better.
Funny enough, even though Ramsey doesn’t like it where chefs talk back, I think he appreciates it in retrospect because it shows they’re willing to fight to win. Even with Nilka, she was on good terms and was invited back in the finale. I was upset when joy left in season 12 though. She was tough, talented and level headed and for her to just quit was unexpected and anti climatic.
Anyone who knows this show is you never talk back to Chef Andi that's a big error. Twice of an error if you talk back to Chef Scott because I swear that man has fought off a pack of wolves before and lived to tell the tale.

As Marine myself, I would say this. This Tennille one was pretty intense and fascinating when Chef Ramsay not to give her up. Its discipline and giving them courage just like my senior DI trying to train hard for the recruits and when you get frustrated and talked down, it will washed you and scream too hard by DI telling you to pull yourself together. the only thing I can think of is that something must have happened irl that they cut during editing in order to make her look like a lunatic. (for example, the whole "Jackie saved the finale" didn't happen because Dannie never actually left the kitchen, the clip of her leaving was recorded during cleanup after service when she went to the bathroom. Ariel confirmed this on Twitter but it's hard to shake off.)

At least Robyn has *some* small ups to her performance. Her initial start was bad, and her performance in the finale was one of the major obstacles Benjamin had to overcome, but she did have improvements in the middle.
Jen was just all around bad, there was no point of her returning.
It's pretty much the expected formula for this show to be fair. He brings on at most maybe half a dozen serious contestants, and the rest of them are unwittingly just there for the sake of making the show entertaining. You'll find you can even quickly pinpoint most of the ones who are going to be in the finals by the way they get little-to-no screentime in the opening episodes (mainly because they aren't making mistakes)!
I don’t think it’s Gordon so much as it’s the producers. The producers think drama makes for good television, unfortunately to many people in this country think that way. Just look at the differences between Gordon’s UK and US shows. It’s night and day between the quality with the UK shows being so much better.
Gordon has no control over who’s picked to be on the show.
I don’t think Gordon is the one that picks people.

Funny enough, even though Ramsey doesn’t like it where chefs talk back, I think he appreciates it in retrospect because it shows they’re willing to fight to win. Even with Nilka, she was on good terms and was invited back in the finale. I was upset when joy left in season 12 though. She was tough, talented and level headed and for her to just quit was unexpected and anti climatic.
Me and my entire family could eat for a lifetime with the amount of food they throw away.

As Marine myself, I would say this. This Tennille one was pretty intense and fascinating when Chef Ramsay not to give her up. Its discipline and giving them courage just like my senior DI trying to train hard for the recruits and when you get frustrated and talked down, it will washed you and scream too hard by DI telling you to pull yourself together. That happen to me on my boot camp days. Long story short! Semper Fi 🫡🫡
