USA vs Australia as a Car Guy…

- USA vs Australia has always been a heated debate, but most the times its about healthcare and 🔫’s. But in this video its coming from a car guys perspective and how different each countries culture really is. As I have lived in Australia my whole life, staying in the states was a culture shock in many ways, good and bad, but when it came to cars and motorcycles it was definitely a change for the better when compared to Australia.

We are living in such a Nanny State in comparison to the US!🤦♂️
Fire quality and they also don’t have p plate restrictions as soon as u get your license you can get any car you want
in tassie you can basically get anything you want on your ps
@@toomythejesterbut then you have to live in tassie
@@CarterThomson-sw6hm its not actually too bad
Another great video mate - if only Aus took a leaf out of America's book!
They're making too much money from fines to stop 🤑
Australia is a socialist hell hole compared to the USA. They'll never stop taxing and fining the plebs and surfs.
AU has 4.8 death per 100,000 people compared to USA's 12.8 per 100,000 people due to motor vehicle accidents. I definitely hope they don't.
@@skilletpan5674 c63s is tax all up new $80000 in australia
or new zealand c63s tax $60000 less new
Okay let's compare only cars related things. Car accidents per capita resulting in mortality. USA: 12.8 per 100,000. Australia 4.7 per 100,000. Source: iihs for USA, Statista for AU. Australia is definitely more concerned about safety.
saftey is the cost for freedom, id rather have freedom then saftey because im not a bug man like you who lives life in constant fear
@@VenterussR6 In the US you can ride a bike without a helmet, refuse a breath test, and drive any car at age 16 at 10-15 mph over the speed limit. So, you're riding your bike at 15 mph over the speed limit and without a helmet because you're free to do that and someone who is over the BAC limit is out and about. He gets stopped by a cop for a breath test, refuses because he's free to do that, and drives on at 15 mph over the speed limit. You have to cross paths at an intersection and you have the green light. He appreoaches the red, misjudges the stopping distance and appears in front of you. You can't stop and you T-bone him, flying over the car to land head first on the pavement. As you're flying through the air, do you wish you and he hadn't been going so fast or better yet, that he could not have refused the breath test and so would be on his way to the police station instead of on a collision course with you? You only have another few seconds to live. What are you thinking? "So glad we have freedom instead of safety"? BTW, I've driven right around the US three times.
@@VenterussR6 safety is the freedom to be alive. i guess i just value the lives of other people more than you
I was pulled over doing 50m in a 30m and the police officer ask why i just told him i didnt realise the limit and then he told me to drive safe😂 I think he saw my australian licence and thought its too much of a hassle
Stay in the USA. I hope you don't need medical help.
stay in australia, pay 40 % income tax and live like a little government slave
Did you watch the video and read the description where I mention this is about cars not healthcare 🤦♂️
Not talking abour healthcare, but how about something that is relevant like road accident deaths? Google says:" Despite similarities to the US in terms of transportation, land use, and culture, Australia kills 5.3 people per 100,000 population on the roads each year, as compared to the US rate of 12.4."
I don’t think safety is a bad thing and especially important for people who aren’t involved in the car or bike scene as they are just commuting safely. But that’s as a whole not just accounting for “car and bike people” speeding, drunk driving and phone usage are a LOT more prevalent than Australia which would be a major factor in that statistic
Are the subtitles for the Americans in your audience?
@@skilletpan5674 damn I thought my Australian accent wasn’t that bad 🤣🤣
