can you tell me any negative things on this type of pool...is there anything you could have done better.... i was thinking of purchasing this pool for the summer
@Superman-xr1oh I just wanted to stay low on cost so I got the cheapest foam board. For such a high stress pushing down from those legs, XPS foam boards may not work either. Anyway I already sold this pool 2 yrs ago as my kids already grow out of it.
I just bought the same pool and had it set up, but on the sides the comer pieces doesn’t really seem to connect. It honestly seems kinda effortless to pull them out. I was wondering if this is normal or is there something wrong with my corner pieces.
Jmir Thomas The corner pieces are supposed to move freely inside the side frame tubes to compensate the frames movement during setup and when fully filled with water.
Hi, i have a quick question what is the size of the pool with the bars? I want to get one but i want to make sure it fits. I know the pool is 12x24 but i cannot find the info with total feet. I hope you can help me thanks
L C The pool is still holding up strong this year. This pool needs to be put away every winter and re-set up every summer which takes a bit of work & $ every time to fill up. Two upgrades done last year were new inline automatically chlorinator and surface skimmer.

@@PTranProductions Have you got some diverter or close-valve for the solar? If you run the pump at night or on a colder/windier day, you will loose all your heat as the blanket has little thermal mass and lets the heat radiate out to atmosphere.
Alex Kostoff Yes, there’s a built in bypass valve from the solar heater which can be be used as needed. Besides the pump only runs during the day on 12 hrs cycle.
I am looking to have a slab poured for that same exact pool. Is 28'×16' correct. What depth and psi should I use to support that much weight? Thank you!
Hello, my name is John. I'm from Greece. Congratulations on your video! I have bought the same pool as yours and put it in the ground. I was wondering if you could do me a big favor and tell me the external dimensions of the tubes on the top (length and width) because I want to have it as reference. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
The dimension of the tubes on the top (when put together) is equivalent to the pool size which is 24'x12' give or take with 4 corners are movable in and out.
30,000..... why so much? That’s more than double the amount needed. 24’ believe takes around 12k or so because I have the 32’x16’x52” and that’s just under 15k.
The sides were leaning inward while it’s filling. That’s is normal. However as the pool is completely filled up all walls were straightened itself out.
Hi ptran, thabks for the video, i actually copy your ideas for my pool. Ima only missing the heater. What kind or how doni search for something like what you have?
As you can see in the video, the pool was filled with a 4" pipe which comes from a water truck that I hired last year. This year, however I just used a garden hose which took about 36 hrs to fill up.
I live in Ohio and have never seen a water truck bring water for a pool. I'll be calling around next summer to fill mine. :)
you have just made me so happy. My pool is bowing just like that and I am having heart attacks every time I look at it.
😃

How far do the supports come out from the sides?
Interesting that you set the legs directly on the foam, did they not sink in due to the compression?
Yes, they did sink in overtime but causing no issues whatsoever.
@@PTranProductionsI wonder if you had used XPS foam, if it would've compressed. XPS foamboard has a compressive rating of 25 PSI.

What did you use for the ground cover(over your insulation), and what type of material is it? Thx Donna
Donna Larson
No cover over insulation
Can a 5"6 person actually swim in this size pool???

It’s 12 feet wide by 24 feet long and 52 inches high. I hope this would answer your question.
I live in Maryland and the Pool guys wanted $300 to fill up our 5,000 gallon Intex pool, so we just the water hose for free. It took about 6 hours.
It takes longer but it's a cheaper way to go.
Hi! Can u give an update of how well the pool is holding up.? Any advice as we are thinking for getting one . Thanks!

PTran Productions I’ve also heard of ppl upgrading their filters and investing in a floor sweep

Yes, 28’x16’ pad with 4” thick seems to stand out ok with mine.
Very nice!

My pleasure! Thank you for stopping by!
how much did the water truck cost? ,,,,,,,,, good idea
Terina Marchand
Water truck cost was $380 CAD.
expensive... if i use my hose, sure it takes like 10+ hours to fill it up but it only costs about 30$
Salvador Nobre Veiga
Filled up with two garden hoses for 16 hrs and cost $120 on the water bill this year.

How is the insulation holding up?

Foam insulation last for about 3 summers. I purchased a Gorilla Floor Pad to use it this year.
How thick is the concrete pad?
It’s 4” thick.
