  • My new Brodak S-1 Ringmaster ARC. I covered it with silk and finished with Brodak and Randolph dope. The engine is a PAW .19BR. The prop in the video is a 9x5 APC (The photo shows a larger diameter prop). I am running PAWs recommended break-in fuel as the engine had only about 30 minutes of bench time (35% kerosene, 33% ether, 30% castor, 2% IPN).
Since the video, I have installed engine offset wedges (helped the outside turns) and made a smaller, chicken hopper, tank of around 40cc (the first tank was a simple uniflow of 60cc capacity).

Very nice combo. Thanks for sharing. The PAW seems to give a very consistent engine run in all attitudes! I have a brand new PAW 1.49 that I am planning to put in a jnr flitestreak variant. Nice flying and great job once again on your plane!

Hello! Tell me please, how long is the cord on the aircraft model with the PAW 149 engine and the weight of the model. Thank you.

Awesome !!!! I also have a PAW .19 and I was thinking exactly the same - to put it on a classic ringmaster as well. What size / length lines are you using ? Are they 0.015 x 60' ? or other custom size ? I would appreciate your feedback.
    Thank you,

Thank you Frederick !!! I simply LOVE diesel engines .. it takes a special skill / passion to fine tune and enjoy these but for the few of us who know .. the joy of a Diesel is simply unparalleled !!!!! Thank you again for your feedback.
