I really wish their label would actually invest in promoting them. Angie has something special and the younger generation would vibe with this.

What exactly do you want a label to do? It looks to me like their deal is based on having freedom to do what they want. In that respect, it's a step up from their previous label.

Yeah, Angie not only brings nice vocals, but a lot of expression as well.

I agree that Angie brings a level of emotional intensity and authenticity which without it the song would fall a little flat.
For something in a similar vein I recommend I Wish I, or for something different perhaps Gold Dash or Forever 19.

Great review with some interesting insights. Yes, the beginning did bring tension but I never expressed it as amelodic which is spot on. Gacharic Spin has always had a bass driven sound that is dense, almost chaotic at times, but it flows. It can often take a few listens to make out all of the different parts and how they brilliantly fit together. Angie is definitely a great addition to the band, especially considering that she was first hired as a performer. Her singing is unique in that she not only expresses emotions very well with her voice, but also with her body language and facial expressions. You don't even need to know Japanese to understand the basis of a song. GS has definitely taken a deeper path with their lyrics since Angie joined. There are elements of angst, but not the hopeless angst prevalent in some Western music since the songs are about overcoming challenges in life and growing as a person.

They intentionally made this song more of a soundscape which implements the angst of the lyrical topic. If you listen either to the live version or some of the shorts, where you can hear the underlying harmonies, the song and the melody in the chorus takes on another character, more accessible.
But just like other Gachapin songs, they mostly chose the road of uniqueness rather than providing a band specific recognizable sound/musical style.
You got the meaning of the lyric right away, so kudos to you!!!
    Cheers :)

Suara Angie sangat kuat, saya bisa mengetahui kalau itu dia hanya dari satu kata yang dia ucapkan.

I like these socially critical songs, we're all not ourselves anymore...
You can't even get a job without pretending...

Maybe they are to different for 90% of the audience. The most people like it strait and clean and in the way they heard music a thousand times before. They just want to hear what they know over and over again. No surprises, please! Ok, thats' fine for them and there is a lot of noise around for this listeners. But it's not Gacharic Spin! And I'm glad about that!
