- In this one I'm flying solo once more! Dad is away on a well earned holiday and I decide to take matters into my own hands and muck a shed out in order to get some kit put inside. After that, I head down to the whole crop and start carting the bales...but that doesn't go smoothly!

You won’t be disappointed James. The ones we planted this spring are amazing. A little weedy in places but that will go once we mow them out in a month or so. I should do an update again.

why compost instead of using a manure spreader?
Honestly, I find we get a better spread with composted muck and we also don’t want to be spreading too much onto the grazing platform during the grazing season. Also, we use contractors for muck spreading so haven’t got a spreader of our own.
@@baldysfarm Makes sense. I was raised in dairy country in western New York. No one really had to worry about grazing, just corn and hay...
What make is your adapter plate on the loader euro to pin and cone ? Do you like it ?
Hey Andrew, I think it’s a Cherry 🍒. It’s good and strong but the cones could do with being a little shorter or more rounded as it’s a nightmare to get certain implements off it at times.
Its because you know in some way it has crap on it. Specially gates. The cows useing them as rubs then shitting all over them.

What was the demo thing?
It’s yet to come. They had to send someone out to put it together on Wednesday and I’ve not had chance to use it yet as I’ve been on my own all week. Hopefully next week but will be worth the wait 👍
