To be fair, if you bought the 2 bowls of ramen at the same time, by the time you are done with all the filming and eating, the egg for the 2nd bowl will get cooked by the hot soup.

As a frequent visitor of this shop, i’m happy it is getting some coverage because i’ll be so gutted if this place closes due to its shitty (but convenient for me) location. At the same time i guess the days of little to no queue will be over lol

I've tried the Shio Ramen today. Not really fan of shio ramen but it was okay 7/10 . Hopefully you can find some good iekei style ramen. Looking forward to this series!
suggestions:
kanada-ya : truffle tonkotsu ramen
kiwami : wagyu ramen
ramen champion : tsukemen
Menya kokoro : iekei ramen (noodles not okay but broth is good)
Go to Kamoshita to eat their iekei, every other iekei is a no go compared to it.
I just wanna say, the tsukemen at ramen champion isnt as good as last time

I went to this place on saturday after your review... i reached exactly at 11.30 but there is already 8 tables before me... leaving there is at least another 30 people outside.
The color and finish versus your video was so different. Even the egg had no marination (white). The shio ramen charsiew was much more charred in your video compared to the one i ate.
Maybe it's because it was so busy, which explains the lack of quality, but i definitely won't go back...

I'm here at East Village, Ramen Ya, in search of the best Ramen in Singapore.. literally. The date is 7th Dec 2023 1145am. 😀
$13.80 is cheap. That area is just too ulu I guess, I live near there and I didn't even know of this ramen place. I know that there are a few famous food places around there as well, but unfortunately doesn't get any crowd during a weekday lunch hour.

When alderic said the soup was salty, and a few seconds later, bottomed up the bowl. Thats when i instantly knew it was gonna be 3 plates.

Won’t your palate be overloaded when eat the 2nd bowl of ramen even though u can wash down and rest for a while,that rich sensation just don’t go away so fast in one dining session.
I think it will definitely be affected a little bit but probably not too much.
wa up till now havent try sanpoutei, are u saving the best for last? their tsukemen pls. dont order any other thing. just go for the tsukemen, spicy if you want.

Just tried after watching. Noodles are great 👍 however, they just increased price and tbh quality isn’t substantially better than competitors. Wouldn’t travel all the way here for this.
