    this series is damn sick, been following since the chicken rice series. Just a suggestion, can do a series on hokkien mee ? lolol would be interesting to see how it goes

    I was at CUT a few weeks back, I had exactly what you had, but with an extra aged ribeye steak, aside from what you had, the chef gave us 2 mini beef burgers and a large farewell dessert, so I would say what they gave you was standard. Would've enjoyed the experience more if I wasn't sick at the time. I highly recommend the onion rings, they were the thinnest, crispiest onion rings I've ever had 👍

      @@Alderic. I don’t know if the mini burgers were on the menu since they said it was complimentary from the chef, but they did taste pretty good 😊

      @@93hothead if I remember, it was around 600+ SGD in total, pretty pricy, but the food was enough for 3 people, my mother and I had indigestion afterwards because we had too much fat 😂 The dry aged USDA Prime ribeye was very juicy and flavourful while the Wagyu was super fatty

    Had me drooling from start to end of this one, but definitely one thing is the price, never seen a price with a bigger number than the total weight of the steak in person before. Definitely, definitely, definitely looks good, maybe one day when I'm feeling rich. Already feeling this will be best of the whole series, how would you even compare this to others T.T anyway, looking forward to the wrap up for this series, and a whole new adventure!

    Manager at CUT was so kind to me and my friend. We were in t-shirt, shorts and slippers, walking around MBS and did a spontaneous thing by dropping by CUT without reservation. The staff did not allow us to dine in because of our dressing. Totally understandable. They offered us a seat at the bar counter instead. We sat down and was looking through the menu when the manager walked by and started a convo with us. 5 mins later he got us a seat at the "sofa booth" during a pack dinner service! Needless to say, it was the best steak house experience for me. Spent 4 figures that night, but it was well worth it! Yummy yummy yummy!

    Thanks for this! I'll never be able to eat there, but being able to experience it through your video was fun! Keep up the good job! Can you do a Bak Chor Mee series next. Its the no.1 food i miss (and unable to find anything similar) when living abroad.

    Thanks for this amazing series! I was a late subscriber but I catched up with all the fried chicken and steaks and watched how you grew to be more comfortable in front of the camera and changed up your style slowly. Really enjoy this style and occasional Singaporean exclusive humor HAHAHAHA pls keep it up hope to see a hawker series to save money HAHA

    Appreciate the integrity and the variety of the feedback, I believe you could do more series like this one (on different subjects). That was the Hits ;-) Now the Misses... We are facing you 98% of the time, I think you can improve the "presentation" the way you are handling the cutleries is... a bit childish if I may. And please, do not put in twice the portion of meat you can handle. Just an advice, as we say we are never overdressed...

If I could nitpick a bit that would be the final fantasy-ish bgm that's sometimes a bit distracting as I'd would rather focus on what you're saying. Anyway, look forward to your new video soon!

    One tip is to go for their USDA Prime ribeye, its what they are known for. 1/3 the cost, definitely not 1/3 the taste :P

    Price has to be part of the equation…this is 2 steaks to me and I’ve eaten there once and would give it 2 steaks, but won’t be back as it’s just too mental pricing….

    Please do a follow up on the different mustards given! Like to know your opinion of whether the given sauces further enhances the already top quality beef or otherwise!

      I think I'll get death threats if I smeared the mustard onto the steak that I got XD but generally speaking, I dislike sauces with good quality beef, even if the sauce is very well-made.

      I did but I edited it out because I felt it took a little too long to get to the steak. it's actually such a crazy condiment. I can't think of a better garlic-butter combination than black garlic x beef fat.

    nice video. There is a reason why a5 wagyu is a5 wagyu, and australian wagyu mb9 is different from a5 wagyu imo.
    This place vs Wolfgang steakhouse seems like a close fight, between french-style luxury restaurant and american style steakhouse

      thank you! I always had the impression that high quality wagyu had no texture and it's too much like eating tallow. this series changed that impression.

    Which steakhouse will you recommend to go for more? Wolfgang Puck or Wolfgang Zwiener?

      ooo tough. Puck is more French style while Zwiener is classic American. Puck has a variety of steaks while Zwiener only has USDA Prime 30 days dry aged. depends on what kind of experience are you looking for, both are solid.

    Love your videos in this series! But could you consider cutting your meat into more bite-sized pieces in your next series?
    It's really disturbing see how wide you need to open your mouth with each bite.

      thank you! hm I did that for the most part but I found that it makes for a very boring eating shot. so I was playing around with bolder bites (I don't eat like that irl) but thanks for letting me know, I'll keep that in mind.

    This is likely the best experience u can get. Unless u have a very specific outdoor setup at home, you simply cannot replicate what these people do at CUT.

    Their service is too good. The lady receptionist ask us to keep our bag with her. The server also made me a free drink bc i only order 1 mocktail for my sis but none for me. I had to step out for 30 min for work and they kept my steak warm. My sis say this is the best steak she ever eaten. Previously i brought her to Ruth Chris.
