We've missed you so much John. This video is much needed...timely. Thank you so much.
2 gals from Washington State (Seattle) think that you are the beesknees. We are planning a trip to see your garden. Mary and Katy. We'll bring you coffee and a salmon. :)
Your flowers are HUGE! I'm laughing out loud at your enthusiasm and the scale of the plants. Not an inch of soil to be seen. Very unlike my small, perfectly formed and manicured cottage garden. I'd have a heart attack caring for yours! Well done, it's fantastic.
Great pieces. Not too long, not too short, lots of info and ideas. Perfect.
Oh my goodness! I'm in love with the Sanguisorba 'Pink Brushes' ♡
Thanks for posting the names of the plants!
Wow! I really love those bamboo canes. They are beautiful and reminiscent of my original home. I also love the hydrangeas. On my wish list for my small garden.
Well, I’m truly inspired with your garden. It would be so nice to walk around there daily.
Wish we had got some of your rain. Our gardens suffered from extreme hot / dry summer. Thinking your gardens looking very nice, thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Thanks John , I always thought it as problem solving as a way to make work easier . Solve the prob then move on -as opposed to make a problem and extra work . Impulse buying I find can create problems. Thanks again John for your films
Love your garden 🌹✨👍
Thank you for sharing your Enjoyable problem solving with us! I certainly enjoyed this video with your video garden and wonderful knowledge! Thanks!
Great to see you! Thank you for the update and as always love your beautiful garden!
I love the sound of walking on gravel💝
Die pure Schönheit darf ich wieder bewundern. Danke!!!!
Super video John, and what a display of herbaceous delights. Certainly the wow factor. Magic.
Wow! So beautiful and many kinds of flowers lovely. 💐 💜💜💜
John Lord, you are a master :)
This garden is a dream!
John love your videos thank you for sharing them with us
John I just want to say a big thankyou your videos are really informative and I've learnt a lot from you, I like you love plants and I am in the process of setting a gardening business up. Watching your videos will help me with ideas for planting schemes etc etc. So again cheers and take care.. and oh please keep the video's coming ☘🌹☘
I love your garden and your ideas👍🏽
When you said "Problem solving is half the fun of gardening..." I had to laugh out loud John. What a joy it is to walk out in the yard and see something that is not working and I say to myself," That doesn't look right, I will have to go plant shopping!" " Oh Darn!" 😋 Right on. A lot of people don't understand that moving things around is part of gardening. They think I'm crazy, LOL. Great video. Please do more. :-)
My husband says my plants have frequent flyer miles!

Haha!😄 😉
Garden looking great - my Sanguisorba’s flopped too !
Yes John in the morning!!!
When a bamboo clump gets a bit dense and shading the garden, we can go in and thin the canes and make quite a lovely grouping with half the canes.
Super video John 👌❣️
You always give such great informative advise. Thanks for another great video, My Friend.
Such a beautiful garden! I must say I was not a fan of the pink brushes beside the orange Croscosmia though.
I always love your energy! Makes me want to go plant!
You are always so entertaining to watch! It is September and your hydrangeas are still fresh & lush. 🤩😍 The astilbe are still blooming?! My astilbe are finished blooming since July. Oh....and those rudbeckia are still fresh! Thanks for sharing your garden! 🙏❤️🇨🇦
Tracy’s Home & Garden The less widely used Astilbe chinensis varieties flower later and are much easier plants to grow
Thanks
Us garden voyeurs demand more 'tours' of your garden. Pretty Please. The plant choices and situations are superbly fastinating, especially with the Wacky John Lord as host.
Great video John as always! What should you do with your problems once you've dug them up? I have a few good plants that aren't working in my garden. Thinking of offering them to friends/neighbours?
Thank you John. Great content as always. Thanks for putting the names up on screen. I have mentioned before but it would be great if you can use a microphone when you do your videos. Your volume goes in and out otherwise. The gravel noise interferes with your voice. Also I believe the latest iphone has better image stabilisation than what you have got there? All the details of your garden will pop out with a better camera.
Must look into it.Thanks for the advice.
I would thin the bamboo and use the canes to support the floppy varieties (if I really wanted to keep them).
Hi john l have got to visit your secret garden and hopefully meet you your ace
We need a late summer / Fall tour please
😊👍
What is the glossy hedge that you walked out of, just past the persicaria and rudbeckia? It's beautiful.
Looks like Prunus laurocerasus 'Rotundifolia'.
@@goeloegoele I looked but it doesn't seem to be available in the US, only what is called schip cherry laurel. It's not the same thing, is it?
@@gardeningjunkie2267
No, it's a different cultivar.
The poor availability in the US surprises me! Here in Europe I see Rotundifolia everywhere.
@@goeloegoele Thank you, I guess I'll just have to look on jealously. It won't even show up in a google search except for international websites.
Do you ever use plant supports?
Never, a plant has to stand on its own two feet. I do though ‘Chelsea Chop’ certain plants to stop them flopping.
Do you have any sesleria autumnalis in your garden, John?
No, never used it before, I must give it a try.
You don’t need to write it all down you can just look at your videos
Jane... you beat me with your comment. I was thinking the same thing!
Very abrupt end to these videos.
All you need is money
