The last time my Grandaddy taxied his 1946 J-3 Cub before Restoring it (Update

This is my Grandaddy's J-3 Cub. He has had since 1968. He's wanting to strip her down ALL the way down and completely restore it like brand new again. Hopefully it want take to make months to get her done. Thanks for watching & God bless!

I really do appreciate the kind words my friend. My Grandaddy flew that Cub from 1968 all the way up until he had a stroke in 2010. Then me and a good friend would go with up with him so he could still fly. But this was the last time he got to sit in the Cub. I’m so thankful for all the wonderful years, memories and videos I have of him.

I used to run my 1/2A powered Berkeley 36 " wsp Aeronca Sedan around with wings off just like that.. I fly a Sig 1/6 electric powered scale J-3 Cub, love Cubs!! Nice looking 1/4 scale Cub.
