I’ve had the Tamiya brush for a couple years and absolutely love it. However, I never knew about the smaller brush on the end….just grabbed mine to look and was like, “Well looky there!” 😂😂😂

Hey Mark, Chris here….. great review, glad it seems 2 work. Some builders use it but I’ve heard them say that they don’t know if it’s really making a difference…… which is why I’ve been hesitant 2 get one. I surely will get one now, speedy recovery as well!!!!!!

May also want to try grounding yourself when preparing to paint at the booth. Just like technicians do when working on electronics! It’s a strap that goes around your wrist and hooked to ground. Had mine hooked to my booth which was grounded! I tried to never paint , airbrush or otherwise without it! This solved my static issues ! I used to teach this in my airbrush clinics, back in the day! (Wow it’s been 20 years already) ! that brush looks like it works great for cleaning up models ! Great video dude! 😎✌️🫡🇺🇸

Got to thank you for your test! Now I'll get two... The old man Donn said to cover the models in a metal box not plastic box right after painting so this gave me an idea with my home made spray booth line the inside with sheet aluminum and dang he was right the metal keeps the dust off and I can ground the metal to earth just like the old timers use too with full size cars with a length of chain!... Now I'll get the brush and try it out just before painting!

I love my Tamiya brush. I use it in place of a tack cloth before painting. When not in use, I keep it in case to keep it clean.

Both of my brushes get a workout! One on the bench that also goes w/me to shows, the other down by the spray booth. You did what I never tried-testing to see if it's actually good for reducing static, and I'm not surprised that it actually works. Definitely worth the $ for these brushes. Glad to see you getting back to 100%, see you on Saturday!
