I picked this up a few days ago and really love it. My brushes have improved ever since. Thought I'd make this video and show you all what the fuss is about :D
Looks a good product, I'll have top keep my eye out for some. You've just reminded me I haven't cleaned my brushes thoroughly in ages, must do it when get back tonight :D
+ModArt633 I really like it, I even went ahead and ordered some for my Dad. Oh, I hope that you can get them clean :D btw, still working on the 109, ran out of blue paint, hopefully I'll pick some up tomorrow :D
That's a product I will buy! I really handle my brushes with care and I wash them with shampoo after use and what not, but this will make it easier! Thanks for sharing, mate! :) Jens
+Non-Prolific 1/35th Scale Model Builder I liked to use a strong dish detergent, but after using this I'm much happier with the shape of my brushes, no problem Jens :D
There's some stuff here in Japan called Brush Aid with a cute anime nurse girl picture on it. I guess it's the same thing. I just treated it like a shampoo/conditioner rinse because I didn't think that I could just dip the brush in and leave it as-is. Do you need to let that stuff dry first before using it again?
+stevethefishdotnet Yeah, I remember that stuff, I still get a kick out of those bottles, really cute. No, if you apply this and then need that brush again just quickly wash it out in water and it's gone :D
I'll probably order some at some point (when I have the time :P ). Quick question, I just received my new tool Airfix Stuka and Gladiator and I was wondering about scribing panel lines. So far I have been crudely using an xacto blade and then a thicker knife to deepen the grove. I need a better way, so any tips would be great!
+Everett m Hi Everett, to be honest that's one of the area's I still struggle with, There are scribing tools out there that you can buy. I've got one from Tamiya, and I've heard a few reviews that the Trumpeter scriber is better. I mainly use a needle in my pinvise. I used it the most on this build here of my Draken: ua-cam.com/video/h4Ygv3QktxM/v-deo.html
One thing to be carefull about is that the thinner that you cleaned youre brush in must be completely dry. I thinned down my contitioning fluid by accident because there was some enemel thinner left on my brush. Not sure if the fluid still works now that is it thinned down.

Nice, vid, mate! Will this work on sable brushes? Bought some cheap new ones at my local art store, somewhat frayed
