I love my 579, I'm not sure about those super singles. I like my duals 11× 24.5 tall tires. The biggest thing I like the most is my fuel mileage 8.5 average. Stay safe

I don't get it & I'm not trying to be rude but it doesn't mathematically make sense fellas. You have a year left so maybe like fr8tsktr you have about 11k in the completion but it's a 60k a year raise & $150-200 a week fixed costs when that trucks paid off. So we're going to send leasing another 55-60k over the next year & delay all the amazing benefits of truck ownership to get back about 17k at the end of the lease?

Hey congrats on your new truck. I love Peterbilt trucks but not the interior because of where the tv goes above the bed. That’s why I always choose KW or International and I love bunk windows on my truck. I wish I was out there over the road driving but I am sitting at home doing dialysis waiting for another kidney. I really really want to drive again, but health is not letting me. So congrats to you and your loved one on your truck, so keep the rubber down and stay safe.

I would not do a peterbilt my last one was the prettiest truck in the shop and stayed broke. I'm staying in a Freightliner.
Same here I came over to prime in 2017 of June. And all the rehires were like go Pete go pete if you can get a Pete take it. Worst advice I ever got. After I signed the contract I took the truck off the yard and broke down on the side ( there was no oil in the truck at all, bone dry. My fault for assuming a new truck would come with oil in it.) The first load I got my brakes didn’t work. The right brakes would start and then the left brakes came on a second or two later and my truck would shake violently, even with Jake’s on. I told Ra I need to come back to spirmo my truck is shaking violently and won’t slow down. I got a critical event my first day and my dispatcher was like it doesn’t look like prime is the right company for you. Day 2 I had to pull over because my drives were smoking. ( brand new 2018 Pete) was midnight purple with gold decals. My truck looked good but it was a Pete of shit lol. So I sat at the Pete dealership for 2 and a half days. They said there was something wrong with the computer chip that would signal the truck to stop. The right one would come on then the left which caused the truck to shake violently. It was frustrating that I wasted my 1 week of no truck note to sit at the dealership. I only had the Pete for 6 months before I was able to get a freightliner. My wife and I are never surprised to see a broken down Pete. Good luck with your Pete.
When I was at Prime, my fleet manager told me all her Petes and Internationals stayed in the shop. I’m definitely going Freightliner.
Plus if you breakdown Otr Freightliner is open over the weekend but peterbilt isn’t

I’m in my homework as well on several trucks out there, and it looks like Peterbilt would be the one I would go for. As far as the camera goes I am looking to purchase one as well and it doesn’t look silly because it gives us a view of what you’re seeing and what you’re experiencing so it’s a little more personal. I appreciate that.
And last, but not least yes it’s OK to show your wife and tell her not to be so shy. She’s a part of you therefore, we’re rooting for her as well. You guys have a great journey and congratulations again. 🍾🎉🎊💪🏾

Brother, been flatbedding all my life from non cdl hot shot, local hauling etc but tell me how it feels switching to reefer. Mental and finance wise. Just started with Prime and the flatbed rates aren’t what I expected as they hyped it up to be.

What white is this ? They have two different whites on the website that you can order and I always like the creamy / tan looking white over this color that you guys chose but Everytime I called success leasing was just like it says white 😂 for the creamy look white color

If you don't like having the camera, try the camera glasses. All they really are is eyeglasses with built in camera. You might like that because it shows your POV. Also, we can see your wife sitting in Tonk in the video when it's side by side with the Green Freight shaker. I would have gone with something besides Freightliner as well. I drove freightliner box truck for awhile. It's not a really comfortable ride in my opinion. Though I did not have air ride seats. I'd also never get an International. We use those plowing here and I wish they'd all burn up.

Lease= renting the truck; Lease Purchase= you have a contract and paying on the truck to buy it at end of the contract terms (like financing a car)
Lease is getting the truck with 0 down payments less control on your truck ...purchase you can take your truck we're you want to work it

You should lease a couple more trucks prime likes it when you buy them a truck every 3 years that's the least you can do for giving you a job

What about kenworth? I know Prime mainly operates Petes, Freightliners and internationals, but I’ve seen some new KWs sitting in the lots on other channels. One of the other channels said you have to be with Prime a certain amount of years before you can get a new KW?
What are some of the differences betweent lease and ace lease during the lease period? Im on lease now (shout out to josh york my trainer, and your trainee!), And hate the idea of paying three years for a completion bonus i am paying for. Would rather ace if i am going to be with prime for three to four years. Thanks, and the truck is beautiful!
