Thank you! Such a difficult process using a "dual SIM" phone if you don't know that you need to remove the physical SIM first. Google don't have this level of information on thier support page, so grateful for this video. Thank you!
I've been using Google Fi since November last year love it ended up making my wife switch and now we're adding the kids when our 4A's come in the mail and will slide the data only sims in their phones and use google voice for their phone numbers since Google allows Fi and Google voice to work together now so that's 4 lines for the price of 2 😁.
Google Fi is a great carrier. My first phone on Fi was the Nexus 6. I'm also surprised more ppl aren't on Fi. Having option of calls over wifi really comes in handy sometimes.
Its nice to have two options on my phone Verizon Wireless and Google FI, because if one network doesn't work or isn't reliable I switch to the secondary network.
Thanks J!!! I just ordered my Pixel 4a 5G for $349 thru Google Fi. I want to setup esim with fi and then insert my Visible mobile sim and use that as my primary. Your video definitely help!
@@ThatDudeJCrash No, you have to order Google FI SIM separately as a mobile service provider. Since the phone is unlocked, you choose which service to use on your phone, I choose Google fi which has worked great so far.
With it set up as dual sim, do you know which number calls come in on? I'll need to know if I'm answering a call to my personal number or my work number.
So I have the OnePlus 8 and the iPhone XS on T-Mobile so if I use the Google fi service for my swim on my iPhone, would I be able to use the Google fi service if I switch my phones?
How does the phone handle voicemails? Are there separate outgoing messages depending on what line is called, or does every caller hear the same message? Trying to merge my personal and business cell phones into one. Thanks!
It does not work for me. When i remove the sim car, the network gets grey and impossible to do what you are doing from 0:20 and on... Any suggestions? Phone is brand new pixel 4a
Wait so is this a methods for being able to use two sim cards when we only have one in the phone because I have my number sim card in the phone but my other sim card has my data
can this work with two numbers but the same network? i.e I have my work number and personal number with VZW is there a way to combine both into one phone? I have both Pixel 2/4XL
I was going to set up Dual SIM, but I messed up because when selecting a carrier, it doesn't show a confirmation before proceeding (except for Sprint, which requires you to confirm that you want to add an eSIM). Here's the confirmation message: "By continuing, you allow [wireless carrier] to verify info that identifies this device on the network."
Seems like alot of pixel 4a owners get bad reception or weak signal not sure if that's a phone thing or just the carriers but I've definetly seen it on many people's 4as...they'll have weak or low signal..has anybody here experienced that issue?
I did had this issue my first days, and I noticed since my old phone was a bit faster in download speed, but after it got better I believe that it just happened because it was the same SIM and I just switched. So yeah I had that issue but is good now 😅
Fire case for the pixel 4a hey j are you bringing more content with the pixel 4a im keeping my eye on that phone for like a work phone cuz the work phone i have is s8 plus and is all mess up lol but the battery on s8 plus is becoming garbage and some time can’t even finish my work on it
Quick question can you save Apps to the SD card a lot of phones I see nowadays are not letting you do It am really wondering if that phone can save Apps to the SD card can you help me
Thank you!

Been using my 2xl with esim on Google fi for a while now. It's saved us a lot of money while working from home since we're almost always on wifi.
Does it support DUAL SIM function at the same time?
thanks! this video was clearer than official Google Fi FAQ pages.

I have wifi calling on the TMobile network and I get great service
@onii-chan's manko TMO actually has great coverage now. I do use visible on my second line though

Thankyou so very much , very clear explaining ...i will start installing as soon as 4a gets here today.
Is it better to use the esim or an existing sim card? (When switching to a new phone).

Sean did it work on visible that's who I have
@@JonSuejoj It worked like a CHAMP!!! I have my Google Fi using the E-Sim and Visible Mobile using it's own sim card in the tray. No issues!!!
@@SeanAnthony wth lol man that's cool
Google FI is great, had it for afew years, one great hidden gem.
I ordered a pixel 4a, the Google Fy (unlocked) option. Does it come with a sim card? I'm using ultra mobile at the moment

I guess I need to install the esim for Europe when I get there from North America.
Nice One.
Thank you very much Sir.
Unfortunately here in Japan we don't have Google fi service.

Does the 5a have Esim ?
What case do you have?
but if we format/reset phone then this esim data would get wiped out right ?
It gives you the option to erase esim data or not.
4a 5g has esim also?
Do it have have dual Volte support?
Went from 11 pro to pixel 3 is the pixel 4a worth the upgrade?
No either get the 4xl or the 5

No SD card possible with any Pixel
If you would have 3 numbers, like Google FI, AT&T and T-Mobile! Could you set up 2 eSim on the Phone?
I think you can, but only 1 esim can be active at a time, but I could be wrong. Have you tried it yet?
Thanks for this! No i feel much more confortable buying this phone.
Thanks for this!
Very helpful 👍 thank you.
Would this be the same way you activate att pre paid on esim?
