The true disservice they did to themselves is included one of those inflating chemical shipping bags, not expensive and saves so many headaches. My rig also shipped without one but thankfully there was no damage to anything and it worked right out of the box without me having to mess with it.
Once, when taking a desktop from Scotland to Norway for a big LAN, I filled the entire thing up with balled up socks to keep everything inside from breaking apart. It actually worked, which was surprising given the dents on the case.

Just upgraded to a 6700xt from a 650 ti boost, The 650 ti boost will always have a special place in my heart! It fought through tough times and not 1 but 2 GPU crises, And it forever is my first GPU I have ever purchased, and yes I did upgrade it once to a Rx 580 in 2019, The rx 580 died, went back to the old girl and she still battled, I'm only upgrading because when I open games I get a warning about my gpu being out dated, Also this GPU had been in 4 different pc builds within the last 9 years, I just hope the 6700xt brings new and exciting memories, such like my old 650 ti boost!!! And yes, I'm getting a custom frame made for my EVGA 650 ti boost from NVIDIA and I'm gonna hang her on the wall,
I recently did a build with that Apevia Captain Power 520w PSU. I was surprised to say the least. Ryzen 5 5600G, MSI B550 Gaming Plus, Sapphire 6500XT, 360mm AIO, 9 ARGB fans, and 32GB of 3600Mhz ARGB RAM in an O11 Dynamic. I was hesitant, but the customer wanted it and there's bee zero issues!

Ngl, the I-5 2400, & the I-7 2600 aren't terrible processors if you on a budget, are gonna use an older GPU like something from the 7 or 900 series from Nvidia, & are gonna play at 1080p. Anything more than that and you're gonna get bottleneck city. Don't pay the price they paid for it tho. None of those part should cost more than $60 each, and even that's high balling them.

Selling a PC with components from 2012 in 2022 as a retailer..? I don't know if I should laugh or cry. This is a horrible buy in 2022. 1. The 5-2400 is not so good for gaming anymore for modern titles as Fortnite. A simple upgrade to an i7-3770 will do wonders for minimizing stutters. 2. GTX 660 is a bad choice now, since it is now unsupported regarding driver support. A GTX 750 Ti (about same performance) would be a better choice, because it is still supported (Maxwell) Lowest end Gsming PC Im selling now, is a renovated (i7-3770 / GTX 750 Ti / 16GB 1600mhz RAM) PC build in new RGB case now in 2022, but at a much lower price than this Walmart PC ..plus mine sports a 240GB SSD + 500GB HDD (you don't want Win 10 to boot on a HDD today, unless its a SSHD with at least 8GB SSD cache) I can only imagine how much profit Walmart makes on these, since I know how much I make selling mine (for $350) and Im sure they got the older parts almost 4 free buying up company leftovers in bulk :)
So these guys are a local shop to me and having seen their layout, it's the absolute worst stock you'll ever find. DDR3 1333 ram in a new built machine, 5 year old components at best, all their prebuilds are under 1,000 dollars but could be built by anyone for about 300 dollars max. This is a scam store designed to scam those who aren't in the know about tech for gaming like the elderly so they will unwittingly buy garbage PCs for their grand kids thinking they are heroes. These PCs would struggle to run Chrome let alone a normal game.
If I can't return the pc, I would have made a lot of noise on Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and youtube. Also, I would give call them several times and fuck with them. I would have assigned them a bad rating in the BBB. I would have told them I was going to file a complaint with the attorney general. I would have contacted the news-investigated journalist problem solver Michael Schwarts to give them hell even if I didn't get a refund on it.

Sounds like either a dead hard drive or some application in the background of you pc is constantly looking through the contents of your hard drive, like windows defender. If you can I highly recommend getting an ssd, they're relatively cheap now to get a 500gb one, usually around 30 to 60 usd depending on the brand and model. Just make sure to get one with a dram cache.
I haven't built a pc that low spec for a couple of years but with specs like that I'd have sold it for maybe half that price with all the peripherals and monitor, speakers etc and it would be a great deal.
