This cutscene animation cinematics is taken from the Trailblaze Continuance Mission "Future Market" when Topaz receives a call from the IPC basically saying that she got demoted in rank and some of their benefits denied. Another interesting character on the other line named Aventurine also showed up and they talked about Diamond and Obsidian, among other things. This is recorded in HD quality and English VA. Probably because he’s talking to a fellow IPC employee and their ranks are pretty much similar even though Adventurine is now higher atm.
Yeah cuz its mentioned by Topaz in the quest that ppl in Penacony hates the IPC, i can see why Aventurine and Topaz as well as the other IPC employees being on high guards and talking as if they’re mocking, or being sarcastic to others?
coming back after the penacony 4.0 quest, i realise aventurine's voice is a lot...more normal?? calling topaz? like, i feel like he put on more a performance talking to the other characters as being more vain/flashy while he sounds a lot more chill talking to a colleague he's 'close' with like topaz
I was thinking the same thing lol I kind of like it more here haha. Really curious where the next penacony quest will lead with him especially since we'll probably be hanging with him for majority of it given where we left off and his banner being there.

I think half of the time it was sparkle, in his dialogue with Ratio Adventurine said that classic "why so serious" sparkle keeps saying over and over again
It might also be change in voice directing? Or he just cranked it up for Penacony. Because Dr. ratio started roasting his outfit too

I just had to re-visit this cutscene after 2.1, absolute props to the storywriters for the foreshadowing

It's nice to hear him break the "cunning charm" and performance and just talk- normally. Of course it's short lived since he's still on the job but it was nice :]
Also though he's somewhat messing with Topaz and also questioning her for her choices, but he's being genuine with his advice. Though he'd likely like to be kind like Topaz was, it's too risky when it comes to working for the IPC. Let not forget he was tortured in an elevtric chair by the IPC when he murdered his owner back when he was a slave. He knows they are ruthless when needed, he knows they don't consider true hospitality, he's just trying to get that message to Topaz so she wont get in more trouble than she can take.

Argenti in the other hand, is a kind, polite yet romantic kind of guy in a respectable way cause somehow he called Dan Heng a beauty.

Also me, as someone who started playing this game when 2.1 dropped. If this counted as a Trailblaze Quest and not a Trailblaze Continuance Quest I would've done it before Penacony. Same thing with Crown of the Mundane and Divine, but it was a blessing in disguise cuz it made me obsessed with Dr. Ratio.

Aventurine had to hand over 3 cornerstones for the Family to allow him inside the dreamscape. Topaz doesn't have that kind of value, and since the Family doesn't trust the IPC, they won't just let one of their members enter the dreamscape without anything in return

Although not really accurate since the groupings in star rail are based on the Aeons they praise not nations they are in, IPC and Belobog both praise Qlipoth though if it was Genshin Qlipoth would be Zhongli.
No, they're not like anyone. They're sort of close to the Liyue Qixing/Snezhnayan Northland Bank but not quite the same, they operate on an international/galactic scale and act more like a bank and mercs for hire. They're basically a massive rich organisation that owns a lot of resources and they can delegate them out to keep the balance but at a cost of course. The IPC isn't fully like anyone, there is no organisation that operates with their scope in Genshin. There is sort of the Adventures Guild but honestly, not even really. The IPC are bigger and badder then the Guild. Honestly, all faction are.
Legion are sort of like the Abyss but not really, their motives sort of differ but they serve similar purpose. Thus far the Legion work towards the path of destruction, the end of all civilisation and live on the cosmos.
The Stellaron Hunters are more like the Harbingers. They are an elite organisation of operatives that serve to gather a certain substance called Stellaron, for an as of yet, unknown purpose.
I think they mixed up interastral peace corporation with interastral violence corporation. seriously, they seem more interested in Chaos then peace.
