The stuff about the IPC's and the Aeon's goals being contradictory are particularly interesting. Not to mention the Emanators being rumored non-believers of Qlipoth.
We know little about Diamond's beliefs. Taravan is interesting by heading the Department most devout while being a nonbeliever himself.
it's also just fake news since we are specificly told that all Qlipoth does is building a wall around the universe and noone knows why. I have no idea where this youtuber got half of this but that one statment is fake as hell.

@@bencegergohocz5988 Which part? The contradictory goals or the rumours of the emanator? The latter is just a rumour that could be expanded upon in later updates. The former however, might be differing views on preservation. Like, perhaps Qlipoth focuses on the protection and preservation of the univerae from possible threats outside it while the IPC "protects"...........universal civilization expansion? They certainly don't even care to preserve the way of life of the citizenry of individual planets/areas.
If I'm not mistaken, Herta also points out that Will of Preservation is merely a slogan of the IPC.
Then, when we got the Fire MC, Qlipoth even surprised if there were still believers of Preservation.
Another detail also hinted on Todd Riordan's side mission. The Intellegensia Guild is even more interested in Yaoshi than Qlipoth.
Also, Stellaron Hunters steals Stellaron from IPC, right?
It feels like IPC is a very dark organization with a lot of sugarcoating on the board...
qlipoth surprised? when did that happen? i don't remember. if you're talking about the child in that dreamlike sequence that's not qlipoth. that child is an architect or consciousness lof alisa rand who is surprised someone in belobog still believe in amber lord and able to enter that space.
also correction: the stellaron hunters steals from herta, not IPC. herta is not part of IPC.
i think originally the IPC is truly doing what qlipoth do (to economically help qlipoth get materials to build the wall), but after IPC grow so much bigger spanning across galaxies, with many voices from different planets affecting IPC, changing board directors over time gradually change IPC objectives, from just to serve qlipoth to become a extragalactic government.
I don't doubt that the IPC isn't actually following Qlipoth, but I don't think they are going against him either. Qlipoth builds walls to protect the people inside, and if you manage to unite all the people like the IPC wants (allegedly), you can put them all behind the same wall to protect them easier. That's how I've always seen it at least.
It's obvious the whole Qiplot is just mere a progaganda to bring people's attention, it doesn't take a genius that the IPC wants to use, conquer and colonize another planets, expand their influence across the universe and take abvantage of their resources. Whether they believe it or not is up to the characters.

That's what I thought too but I also thought that at some point if conflict arises from one world to another, it may affect the other worlds interconnected and that means it may affect their "preserved" state.
Alisa Rand, the first Supreme Guardian had to be an Emanator of Preservation.
Her lance and Engine of Creation had to be blessed by Qlipoth.

I feel like what the IPC believes to be the concept of the Preservation is very similar to contracts/rules/order in genshin, which is interesting because Geo is also the element of shields and where mora/money is created. Liyue is also focusing on trading, commerce, similar to the IPC.
i think IPC case more complex than liyue just your singapore where all nation goes to trade or passing to dock meanwhile IPC is really trying touch another unknown world even taking risk to saving planet environment etc. also IPC are bussy enough to put bounty on stellaron hunter gang.
Joke theory: the IPC began in Liyue and HSR takes place thousands of years after the events of Genshin Impact.

It will be interesting to see how hoyoverse will handle such a large organisation, especially with the various departments and characters that were introduced.
they have been being very greedy with the size of groups, factions and organizations that they are including in the lore, for example in the game we went to luofu and met a vidyadhara leader (IL), buuuuut in the lore there are 5 more ships, that includes another 5 generales like jingyuan and relevant characters like fu xuan, also there are another 4 vidyadhara masters, the scale of the world is HUGE
@@juanpabloyarceescobar6359it’s gonna be a while before we see the end of this one. Reminds me of Honkai impact where there wasn’t really a known ending for the story until much later, and even then, it ended up just being the end of part1.

@@spymadmax584 let me think. There was Hyperian from the Borderland series. Araska from Cyberpunk 2077. And Vault-Tech from the Fallout series. There’re maybe more but those three fictional companies are the only ones I know the most.
To be fair, the fact that megacorps, especially ones of galactic proportions like IPC, are greedy and heartless while pretending to be nice is not at all strange and is basically a classic trope for any story that somehow involves corpos. I understand you’re making a reference but still…

In the Xianzhou Ally, IPC is included there but Oswaldo is one of the people who is marked highly suspicious. He can change his personality, but his fanaticism is up the charts. He might be lower now, but he has the potential to be an ace villian like Kefka in FF6.

I love how Qilipoth doesn't give attention to them because they dont understand.
Preservations means to nurture, to care, to protect and preserve those planets each individual properties so the universe has a arrange of diversity.
Meanwhile, the IPC when successfully "connect" to a planet, not only they slowly destroy the planet culture (as seems from the Xianzhou Ship where Sushang come from) but they slowly take their resources, pressure governments and communities into submission by their extravagant contracts and don't guarantee the survival of the planet. They dont preserve, far from it, they just transform everything into their bland profit and propaganda culture.

Mmmhh..... There Is something about the IPC, like a propagation then a preveservation. There are the tipical multinational company with diferent people. Good ones like Topaz AND (maybe) Aventurine. But peolpe like Aranta Are arrogants AND they just want benefis for they selfs. It's not be a surprise, that they a dark secret in the high steps in the IPC AND become antagonists in they main base (in the heart of the company) or in a world that want to Explode there AND there habitants.
I hope they made some references to houseki no kuni when the diamond teams get into the main story.

here's the problem, the knowledge about qlipoth in the game lore is obtained from the IPC.
everything we know about IPC suggest that qlipoth's goal is not only to preserve and isolate world from destructive aeon like nanook etc.

The child when we get the lance is the will of the last guardians of belobog, not qlipoth. Pretty sure he has more worshippers than in just 1 planet(belobog) but true due to ipc peaplo's faith with qlipoth throughout the galaxy is probably deteriorating

If you have talent you probably is not gonna work like these guys we beat up.
The IPC probably has more opportunities than other companies or planets, aside from the company flaws I think it's a neutral company in mora terms, and a good 7/10 company in terms of opportunity and growth.
I hope we see some good side of IPC in the future, and not just that shitty attitude that low level employees tend to have.
I'm pretty sure that Qlipoth isn't doing anything since the IPC hasn't stepped over a line by the Aeon's standards. But if they do, the cosmic hammer would fall and bye bye IPC. Like really, with the rate on how they do things, it seems highly likely that they would someday.

WOW, very fascinating, the aeon never asks nor objects about anything the IPC does, yet the company doesn't seem to be any inquisive about the god's actual opinion on their actions and goals or if they even care about them at all. I WONDER WHY THAT IS.....
the aeons are very realistic images of gods imo, in the way that they don't seem to care about anything that happens to mortals on most occasions. Lan was the same, his actions harmed his people but he doesn't really care about it, tbh, i've always thought that if gods are real, they will act very similar to the aeons

But Akivili seems to be the exception. Off all Aeon they are the only ones who actually interact with Mortals. Likely because to Trailblaze is to Explore and Travel. And to Explore, one must learn about the Locals.
Notice how of all Paths, only the Trailblaze actual Demands exploration and as such interaction with the Locals. Because part of Trailblazing is to learn and explore

IPC has very "gray" morality. They value their assets, remove any obstacles they face whle connecting may worlds as possible. Just like judging any aeon as "evil" or "good" is meaningless, doing the same thing to IPC is also meaningless. You cant really compete with something like this without having your own "gray" morality.
Which kinda confuses me about Akivili. Every Aeon so far has some bad side but I fail to see what Akivili has that can be considered bad which kinda breaks the gray morality the Nameless has. Its like pure goodness.
The IPC is grey because its sheer size means it's bound to have both good and bad people.
The Nameless are just Travellers moving from World to World. They don't really have gray Morality because they don't really have an Obligation to Intervene. They are just Travellers.
Qlipoth just does nothing unless its an Intergalactic threat like the Swarm Disaster. But man, Chill when he starts moving.

Can someone remind me what the "genius society" actually is and if it is connected to ipc or not. I know that it's a group of "a bunch of "geniuses" which herta and ruan mei and screwllum are part of it, but i kinda forgot any other details about the society
The Guild and the Society are two seperate groups with the same purpose of gaining knowledge but with different backers.
The Guild, funded by the IPC broadens its power and influence by exchanging the knowledge they earn with resources from the IPC who in turn use their resources to further the Guild's interest.
Whereas the Genius Society are ardent followers of Nous the Aeon of Erudition. Hence since the Aeon was originally a supercomputer they have the distinction of their founding being directly tied to the aeon before its ascension.
Genius Society members are people personally picked by Nous, which can range from relatively normal to absolute nutjobs. The guild are people who aren't quite so special, but they're doing research under the path of Erudition anyway. IPC funds the guild so they could monetize whatever comes out of their research.

Am I the only one who thinks aeons are like cults? (I didnt find the better word) They fight for them, they follow them, worship them. Most of the char following one of them. Some say its similar to Genshin archons but I think there are slightly different.

For scale comparison, Honkai were planetary level threat, Aeons are universal overseers, basically physical embodiments of universal laws and concepts
Aeons are just supreme beings or gods of the universe
You can think about each path as a religion and Aeon of each path as a prophet in HSR but due to HSR universe tend to be in a bigger scale than HI3(and Genshin) so Honkai may be just one big thing or phenomenal of the many in HSR and some theory explained that 'sky people' in APHO was part of Antimatter region that aim to bring destruction to HI3's earth
we don't know yet Aeon and Honkai are relevant or not but if both game set in the same universe(or another universe but still part of Imaginary tree or sea of quanta) then whey might connect somehow
Just think of them like gods, every "god" has a path connected with it, this paths are "concepts" and each "god" is immensely strong but his abilities are limited to his path, for example, the "god" of destruction(nanook) can't do the same things like yaoshi do(the god of abundance). A mere mortal can become an aeon, for example, lan the hunt was a native of xianzhou

@@idontspeakjapanese6289 Oh that's not a matter of if, but a matter of how many. I'm more surprised about Oswaldo specifically because not only was he name-dropped by Adventurine, but the way Topaz talked about the Nameless made me think that there wasn't a Nameless in the IPC
It sucks that the game never went over who the IPC, Anti matter legion, the Express crew, Akivili, or the Aeons are in the game. I wouldnt even include SU in here because it does a very bad job at explaining whats happening when the entire basis of the world and galaxies never been properly explained unless you spent a million hours trying to read through every book or text that 99.9% players wouldnt have the time to read or find it interesting.
Even the vid is still really vague in the original.
If they just give out all the lore in character dialogues, just to end up being skipped, I think it's better for them with this approach, kinda like elden ring.
A daily reminder again that HSR is still at their *first year* lol, ofc Hoyoverse won’t straight up reveal most of the informations right away cause that would be no fun (at least in my opinion). The Express crew will for sure be traveling to multiple planets in a big galaxy and not limited to only 7 regions like Genshin so by that time in far future, most of these questions will also eventually get answered and become more clear.

The issue here is that they introduced the story in the messiest order without having a single explanation on what the important entities were when they're all an integral part in the world and story development; they still never did 4 months into the game when they drop new story update every 42 days. By the time they finally start explaining about those things were, people would already either forgot about them and quit the game or gave up on wanting to understand HSR lore a lot of things don't make any ssense and a lot of plot development seem to happened out of nowhere. The only appeal there is the flashy animated cutscene even while not knowing wtf iss happening 90% of the time.
It sucks that they expected people to read the non voice stories or read books and texts to find that out, ain't got that for that coz I got a life.
The very vast majority of people, if they don't understand something, it already kills the first impression of the game for most ppl. A lot of people who had quit HSR actually didn't even made it past belobog's story. They just stops.

Not specificially the archon war but the cataclym did get told about a lot. most things about each country get told the very moment we step into each new country, and the world quest went exactly into explaining what happened and what the archon and other servants did/sacrificed before they died to the abyss and the corruption of forbidden knowledge.
And unlike HSR: Amber, collei, etc, get fully introduced the very moment we get to meet them.
It's not like HSR where tingyun gets introduced for 5 min of actual screentime and dies out of nowhere, or Jingliu having a random quest out of nowhere where she held her own death ceremony talking about a war that was never fully talked in-game, TB hasnt even met her yet lmao, apart from it being described as "sad and we lost peeps while aeon of hunt just one shot invaders with one arrow" in yukong and jingliu's quest which was superficial af.
it never went into detail. Jingliu acted like an edgy brat too when she poured her drinks in that one picture with the other guys lmao. Like, are you trying to act cool or some sht? Fking 2nd emo-motherfker in the game after blade and 2B looking a-ss with an emo reason of why she wears a blind fold. How the fk are you even still alive lmao.
I'm not trying to praise GI story here since it's pretty mid and HSR had potential to be better, but idk, Honkai writing is just very bad imo since the writing is too unorganized and messy and we have to wait 42 days before the next story to get updated, by then I would already forgot about the lore for HSR coz most character quests are literally a joke.
@@Qopa Honestly, I never read any lore beside main quests and side quests, but at least i still understand what's going on. Just like what you said, honkai lore are not elden ring lore level, but that's literally what makes it more easier to understand, because so far as i play this game, the lore is really not that complex, and you can at least figure the lore by guessing, just like watching anime
Ozwaldo is probably the most interesting higher up besides Diamond to me. This gigachad is somehow considered a "High Threat" to the Xianzhou, which is based after the Xianzhou took 2 or 3 patches for a mediocre story while skyrocketing the DPS power levels with constant Quintet shilling.
This makes belobog the weakest faction so far because their architect is dead hundree years ago and sadly no emanators from them even though they follow qlipoth more than IPC
