    I have a Meshify 2 C and got a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 xt, aside from the reference cards it was one of the only cards that would fit without the need to remove a fan

    I had to use corsair's slim fans on my top mounted AIO to clear the ram in my fractal meshify 2 compact case. Now im going to squeeze a 4080 fe in there.

    This is great. Meshify C is really outdated but still a nice case. It's just too small for new gen GPUs and some air coolers. I still have mine. Long live the mesh C

      Meshify C is great case in my opinion I just completed a build for myself running i7 13700 K and Noctua NH-D15 and MSI 4070 ti trio. No issues with cooling at all. It is a great space saver.

      @@realfoodsmile Do u have a slim fan as front intake? I ordered a Gaming X Trio 4070 but it wouldn't fit with my Noctua Chromax 140mm fan up front. I decided to return it and have a Ventus 3x 4070ti on the way which should be just about ok. I love the case though, just big enough for ATX and yeah, the space saved is worth it.

  • @derelictmusic3218
    @derelictmusic3218 Рік тому +3

    That fan should be moved as low as possible IMO. Open air GPUs push air *out* through the fins, whereas your intake fan is pushing air back in, causing a counterproductive airflow loop. I suspect if you tested your gaming temps without that intake fan in its current position you would get either a negligible difference or even better temps.

    • @5WTech
      @5WTech  Рік тому

      I believe they push air out from the fins on the side, I.e. near the glass. Almost every case has a fan on the front. If I placed the fan lower it would guide most of air jnyobthe basement. Keep in mind the meshify c has a thick, thick filter. It needs some help brining in air. All in all the setup is less than ideal. But 60'C during gaming is perfect.

  • @ediogracie

    What about the glass? You were able to close the case or had to use it opened?

    • @5WTech

      Had no issues with glass. Didn't even touch. Spend some extra time routing the cable and you'll be fine.

    I had this same situation but actually was able to get a founders edition 4080. It fit in the meshify c with a normal 140 mm fan but I just felt it was too cramped for my liking. Ended up just buying a new case lol. Looked at the Ventus with a slim fan beforehand as I figured I would never be able to get a founders card. Nice to see it worked out for you, enjoy.

    The hdd tray can be removed in order to move down a fan, it will pump air inside the case and just under the gpu. Also, did you get something to support the gpu? it seems to weight a lot!

    • @5WTech
      @5WTech  Рік тому +2

      Yes, you'd be able to open that up but then you'd expose the basement. So far temps are great. The MSI Ventus 3x comes with a GPU support but I didn't use it. I'm going to be moving this into a SFF build in a month or so. So stay tuned that build!

    I’m late here, but the Asus ProArt 4080 card, which is actually 2.5 slots, and it’s actually relatively smaller than the MSI 4080 Ventus. The only downside is that the Asus Pro Art 4080 runs substantially hotter than any other 4080 card, with around 20-25 degrees higher temperatures than the 4080 Ventus, which is usually around 65-70 degrees Celsius on load. By comparison, on load, the Asus Pro Art 4080 is roughly over 90 plus degrees Celsius. The performance is slightly lower too than the Ventus too, but if you absolutely want the 4080 for streaming, 3D/After Effects Element 3D/ Cinema 4D /3D Studio Max work, or gaming, or a combination of all of those, and space is an issue, the Pro Art Asus model might be the best option.
    If stability and a slightly higher temperature than most of the other 4080 cards, by roughly 5-8 degrees Celsius, is important, while also being substantially less wide than most of the other 4080s, then the Ventus is the best choice. I went with the 4080 Ventus because my build, with an Intel i9 13900k, is completely clean, and clutter free build, that’s not designed for any form of RGB lighting, despite making sure that cables are barely visible, since it’s in a completely closed, window free case that’s used for design work, learning 3D, 4k video editing, and gaming, with emulation being the most important to me after work. It bothered me that there aren’t any 2 slot versions of this card, despite having a large case, loosing a PCI E 1x slot was frustrating.

    I rock the same Case in the same Color. With the same Card. Ok it is an 4090, but the size is the same.
    I also build mine on december 23. Yes, the temps are not the best but it looks still badass.
    It's ammussing that on the other side of the planet someone had the same problems i had.
    Remember, to this date the Meshify C is still the smallest Case that fits an ATX Boards.
