This was annoying the crap outta me I was trying to install the new and drivers and I finally after 1 hr got it working by the first step of the video so thank you! You just got a like and new sub
First of all, I like to thank you for this video. Secondly, you should get a mic. People tend to not watch these videos without sound. Thirdly, for every people out there, this solution works but you have to do every little step, even you have to click on restore to original settings when installing new Radeon software. I tried missing only one step and it failed but now it is resolved after 2 hours of struggle.

You just gained a subscriber. I am new to AMD, I usually used nvidia but I decided to try out the competitor on a new laptop. Adrenalin would run good for a few weeks, maybe a month and then just disappear from my system randomly. I just factory reset the first time, and had it happen again today. I found this video and downloaded the AMD cleanup utility and then downloaded the auto detect AMD software and installed the Adrenalin edition and I now have it working again. Thank you, sir! (Or madam)
Actually worked.
First I just did the Cleanup and Reinstall, then Reboot while installing, etc.
But didn't repair the C++ Redistributables... And got 1603 again :/
Then I did the Repairing, too -> again Cleanup -> again Reinstall -> Again Rebooting... And now it works without errors 🤩

Not working
Caution - This caused my system to enter into a boot loop and then BSOD. Make sure you create a restore point before hand and or have the adrenaline software downloaded and ready to install before restarting.

Me too. Last fu***ng AMD GPU (or CPU) ever in my computer. Never had problems with NVIDIA.

AMD makes great GPUs but their drivers are god awful.
Can't wait to switch back to nvidia.

Make sure u have the right power cables to power your gpu you may need a converter for your power supply
Ok this might help except everytime I run AMDs clean up tool or tell it to reset to factory settings on install, it restarts and I get blue screen on boot up saying it has an error and will restart automaticly, when it does that same thing happens then it tries to auto repair which doesn't work and I end up having to restore to a last save point and the cycle repeats. So 🤷♂️... although I will try the other two steps since I tried that but was out of my depth on what AMDs website was trying to explain. So thanks for SHOWING me what to do.

This is great and I’m glad it helped a lot of people but man I’ve been at this for 2 days and during the Adrenalin download it always ends with the error 1603 like come on amd. I haven’t changed a damn thing since I first downloaded it. Why won’t it download anymore?? Ffs

posible SOLUCION .......Despues de medio año logre solucionarlo ....actualize mi placa madre ( bios ) tenia la version 1002 y lo actualiza a la 1820 ( de cada placa madre es diferente ........despues de eso si me dejo instalar la actualizacion 20.4.2 ( mi placa es la b450M-A con un ryzen 5 2400g .....y desde que la compre nunca la actulize su bios....( puede que este no sea tu caso y no lo recomiendo que hagas si no sabes hacerlo )........y ese problema hacia que no tuviera el rendimiento real de mi proce
