Not sure exactly where this should go. I have been fighting with stuttering on my system for a while now and have finally fixed it and what to share what worked. I believe It's a power saving issue. The issue I researched is the RX 4xx series don't suffer from this problem because there is a power efficiency setting in the drivers at least up to pre 2020 drivers which they forgot to implement for the rx 580 despite it being the exact same chip it isn't selectable or appears in the settings. With power efficiency off there is no stutter. FIFA 15,17,18 is one prime example of where this flaw evidences itself, you play for a while and the gpu and memory clocks just crash to 300mhz leading to unplayable stutter. The game doesn't even work properly without stutter unles power efficiency is off. It's a powerplay problem. The power savings are left far too agressive on rx 580 because they forgot to implement the toggle in the drivers that the RX 400 series has.
Same here. Set it to graphics mode. CPU is not big deal. I got the same cpu. Use LatencyMon to detect cpu stutter (usually USBPORT.sys bug) Otherwise is all the gpu.

Otherwise is all the gpu.
How u do that i have same problem
Dude am facing a prob where even though all applications are closed the software shows vram usage like 2 gb or so when idle and when i game it increases beyond the settings tried reinstalling the drivers no help

@@thewannabetourist4908 dude just download older driver it solved for me ✌️

Hi, I found this movie because I recently bought the RX 580 card and I have a problem with various crashes, e.g. when I watch UA-cam on fullscreen, I get a blue or green crash. Fortunately, this does not happen in the game, but I would like to watch yotubue in full screen. Will this method help me?
Help ,my Rx 580 keep on crashing ,the driver keeps crashing
The screen will turn off and come back on
UA-cam man have you updated your drivers?
@@teto0207 yes I did, the problem is , when I play any games or if I stress test using funmark ,the thing freezes and the whole Radeon crashes
@@ADARSH-vy4ng Download the recent Driver. Download DDU. Disconnect from the internet. Go to safe mode, and ddu it. Then reinstall the driver, Keep the internet off, untill it's done, then turn it back on. Hopefully that works :)
@@alpinfa4219 nah, I installed the lastest drivers and Al , still the same issue ,I think the card is bricked
@@ADARSH-vy4ng Damn. And you ddu it?
wow thank you so much, for a few weeks i was having problems with FL studio, every time i would opening it up, my screens would go black/crash for about 1-3 seconds, i updated my drivers for amd, and kind of fixed the problem but i was having this stutter issue, this nearly has fixed my problems, im still getting a little bit of stutter but nothing i cant deal with, thank you.
Is the stutter gone now?
@@fedibd the stuttering/black screen went for a few days and came back, did a factory rest on the pc, pc ran good for a month, then got the same problems, i installed DDU (display driver uninstaller) and removed all amd graphic drivers, the fix to the problem is NOT to install any amd software like adrenaline etc, ive had no problems since 😁👌🏼💪🏼 and the pc runs smoother now, hope this helps, it was bugging me for nearly a year 🤣
When i try these settings on my software it freezes screen and sends message: amd software detected that a driver timeout has occurred on your system and then those settings are reverted back to default ... Any advice ? :/
Ι have notice something strange. (I made the chances that you said). i saved as default BUT sometimes it stucks again... So I open the AMD app and I realise that the changes didn't made. It' s running again at 300. I have to reload the file of my changes. (and it's OK). Why on startup doesn't load ? It's so weird...
Mine stutters too but the stutters sync with a buzzing coming from the card. It's a 6800xt
Whoa! just did a PC build yesterday and had the same stuttering in Fortnite. this fixed it. Curious, did you notice a drop in FPS after this?
My Radeon rx580 fans dont spin when display shows up but do in the few secounds it boots. Someone help i cant play any games
And i dont think its a driver problom
Omg thank you 🙏 this helped so much
didnt work , should i copy all the numbers
just the last numbers where they max
@@teto0207 I put the same the MHz and mv
Maaan... i would kiss you, finally no more stuttering, i was even thinking in refund my PC, you were the only one who fixed this damn problem. If was possible, i would give you more than just one like
Kiss me? 😳
@Mohammed Kiani Have you found a way to get rid of the stutters on the 480? i get stutters sometimes too.
4:00 I didn’t understand please explain well and what I should put on
simply change your max numbers to the ones on screen (MHz = 1400) and (mV = 1050) leave the rest of those numbers alone.
thanks!!!
Do you know why when I tried these settings and l loaded in to fortnite and it just keeps crashing?
I’ve been using Radeon chill for this problem. If you set both settings exactly to the frame rate you desire it’ll stay there and won’t cause stuttering. On gtav my game stutters and the FPS counter runs at exactly 62fps. I activated Radeon chill to exactly 60fps and it stopped stuttering.
Also If you Turn Off Instant Reply It makes the % usage so much better
Now i have less stuttering but there still is stuttering in 3D Mark Fire Strike. How am I gonna fix that?
3D fire mark Is incredibly intensive on your GPU. You are using a mid range so it will never be fixed. In other words, your GPU can't actually run it well.
@@John-hz4wi no. I think its my Power supply. It has too low watts
Triu omg dumbass u don’t get the point
I'm using an android emulator to play game and my the graphic on my Sapphire RX580 keeps stuttering until i discover your 'Stuttering Fix'. Thank you very much, good job..
explain plz
Love you you might have saved my sanity
It’s why I do it. I know when I first encountered this issue I pushed over a networking project I had due the next day to figure it out lol I felt crazy towards the end.. glad it helped man!
teto0207 yeah I was ten minutes away from sending it back
This helped me a lot thank you for this video.👍
How does my gtx 1050 ti perform better than the new rx 580 i just got! I ramped up the core and memory clock to 1500 and 2100 but my gtx 1050 ti clocks at 1700+ core clock and 3000+ Memory clock! Helpppp
I play wz it say I avg 70fps but when I move my mouse it drops to 30fps any reason why I have 8 gb ram with a ryzen 3 3200g and a rx 570 4gb
I have a ryzen 3 3200g paired with Msi rx580 8gb. I followed the exact same numbers in frequency and voltage but now Fortnite just crashes everytime I get into a game. Could u help plz
Undo it then
Bro can u help me pls when i play FIFA 21 it locks to 30 FPS?its of tuning or something else?
Check the in game settings and see if there’s an FPS limiter set? I’d also check the Radeon setting and turn off “Radeon chill”
Hello to anyone having this issue in games, I did what homie did in the video and undervolted the card, but I also installed DDU and wiped all display drivers including intel integrated graphics. And installed the oldest and drivers I could. And it fixed my stuttering issue.
Ziltoid BB what’s DDU?
Wdym by installed the oldest andere drivers I could
@@Turtle125 older drivers tend to be more stable with AMD, try the last 4-5 driver, use AMD clearing utility software everytime before installing another
i have an r7 260x with this problem can you help me out?
Does anyone know if this will help the 0 to 100% usage, then back down issue?
Was ur gpu usage all over the place
This problem happened after my new Sapphire RX 570 Pulse 4GB graphics card. I solved the problem. It seems that the problem is not on the card. Due to being a new card, there was a hdmi output problem with the old monitor. I fixed the problem in Radeon Adrenalin 2020 by disabling the HDMI connection assurance option in the display settings. The green screen no longer appears.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!
Can somebody tell me what is happening. I go to enable instant reply, go to open rocket league it says terminate the program sometimes, or it stutters
Bro i have stuttering problem in any games like sekiro shadow die Twice valorant and other games but when i play battlefield 5 ITS not stutter and run smoothly are you know how to fix that?

@@teto0207 yes your solution is great bro
bro what is your temp while gaming?
Depends on the game, when in cod I go up to maybe 70c
@@teto0207 mine goes to 85 is that normal?
If you don’t see any performance issue I wouldn’t worry. Only if you see frame drops or input lag or something then I’d tell you to mess with the fan speeds manually. It’s pretty simple but if you want me to I’ll make a video on it.
Bro thanks a lot, used your same settings and those warzone stutters just disappeared.
Not sure if this is the same issue but I am getting gpu spikes for the mildest games even minecraft. It will be at 5-10% then spike to 80-100% every 2 seconds any tips ?
