  • My Spicy Animations course is now available!
Check out the first 4 videos of it for free here: bit.ly/PPT-Minis
[Note that the Bounce is part of the mini course, so just skip it when you get to it, if you've seen it here.]
If you’re not interested in the full course, totally cool, but definitely watch this video for the bounce effect, which adds some subtle spice to your boring old motion paths.

WOW! I thought PowerPoint was nothing more than another tool for the kids to do class projects with; clearly, I have underestimated the creative usefulness of PowerPoint. And BTW, Spicy, excellent videos and channel. Thank you.

Awesome! Quick question, would it work the same if I had 6 letters, like "The End"? Great video btw :)

Thanks for the awesome ideas. Fly in works as well, it has a bounce effect, and we just select P,W,R together and add Fly in from top and adjust the bounce and speed. Same for the other two letters Fly in from bottom. Its much easier.

Agreed! In the full course I do explain that learning this with a bounce first gives you more versatility because you can angle the motion paths in any way you want. Though perhaps the fly in would have been easier to start with.

Once again girl, you've done yourself proud. At app. 9:42 of your video you animate the 5 Ps from verticle alignment to horizontal in a smooth motion -how did you do that?.

Nice:) btw it also works with the fly in animation only. I have a question. What do you use to record your ppt screen? bcause i am planning to make a tutorial video

Oh cool - thanks! I use Camtasia, but I used to use free software like Camstudio, which also works. Windows Movie Maker to edit (free) or Camtasia recorder to record.

Yes, you do have to time your slides - I put most of slides to just go "after 0:00" to make it flip immediately, but sometimes you have to give it a second or two of pause before you move on. For Mac, I believe you have to be running the subscription version (365) to get it to work. Otherwise, you can record your screen like using Camtasia recorder or Camstudio.
