X-Ray Animation Effect in PowerPoint - Magic Window Series (Part 1)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 бер 2020
- Here's a really cool trick that's SUPER versatile and pretty much guaranteed to impress your audience. This video tutorial shows the X-RAY application of this effect, but you can do spotlight, blur, night vision, color pop, augmented reality, magnifying glass effects - and many more!
Here is the download file so you can set up your effect yourself. You do need a newer version of PowerPoint that has the Morph transition. bit.ly/MagicWindowXray
I learned this technique a while back from my friends at BrightCarbon - so huge thank you to them, and check them out here: www.brightcarbon.com/
Thanks for watching, and hope you enjoy!

So happy to get notified of this new video. Have not seen you in awhile and you have the BEST and most creative PP videos. This is great and I am looking forward to using in the future.
Thanks so much, Patti! So glad you enjoyed, and really appreciate the comment and support :).
@@powerpointspice Absolutely, PPSpice. You really show how PP can offer creations on the same but easier level as After Effects, Premiere, etc. I really appreciated the 3D camera video you posted a few weeks ago. Its so awesome what can be done with those settings. I really look forward to learning from you and do look forward to your new videos. If you have time, I highly recommend you creating a PP course. You coud really show what can be done with PP. I use PP as my video editor and NO ONE promotes this at all. You could have a huge audience in this niche and really, really show what can be achieved so much easier and faster than advanced editing tools. Just a thought. If you decide to do it and need help setting up sales and promo or even putting the course together, I will be more than happy to work with you. 😇
If not, keep posting here, cause I am anxiously awaiting another video!!
Hi Patti - so kind of you to offer! I did create a course a while back (with 34 videos) and I have it up on our site - it shows what you can do even without morph (I show the first part of the course in my “bounce trick” video on my channel. My challenge with making new stuff is always prioritization / timing (as I have a full time job and fuller time family :)) but will definitely keep at it. The series for this magic window is already in the works and I have more on 3D in terms of where to get 3D models from different sources etc. Agree that PPT is so versatile and can do so much that most don’t know! My main goal is to spread the word!! :)
@@powerpointspice Oh cool, Spice. I will go check it out and see what kind of ideas I come up with for spreading the news and get back with you.
I totally understand about time and priority. You are doing great with such a full plate!!
Lets see what we can come up with. I love PP so much and it makes it so much easier to create amazing presentations and videos, especially. And, there is not really any female who is dominating in marketing vids for YT (especially), so I will see what I can come up with and lyk and we can go from there. As always looking forward to more of your content!
PowerPoint Spice never fails to deliver! I appreciate the huge amount of work in these videos that make everything appear so simple. Fabulous (as always).
What a nice comment - thanks, Robert! Indeed I do always try to bring non obvious stuff here and do think pretty extensively about how to present. Glad it was useful! This is a super fun one to play with - enjoy!
Awesome trick. Creativity at its best. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the comment - sounds like this is a perfect trick for you, given your specialty!
@@powerpointspice Yes, it is. I always use tricks taught by you in my PowerPoint-based medical presentations for my channel. Thank you.
So happy to see you back on the tube! Have missed your videos.
That's so nice, thank you, Anthonia! Glad you enjoyed this one.
Great to have you back, and with such dazzling ideas! Thanks :)
Thanks, Brian! This is indeed a really useful trick - so many applications. Appreciate the comment!
Brilliant. Your videos are both very cool and super informative. Artistry meets education. Great combination. Thanks a ton.
Very neat effect. Excited to experiment more with all of its uses!
Super! Thanks, Sticky Keys - I think you’ll have a lot of fun with this one!
Very nice useful tutorial.
Thank you, Tech Marathi & Hindi! So glad you enjoyed - this is indeed such a versatile trick.
Thanks Lia. God Bless you.
Great to hear from you, Jose, and hope you are well! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Always brining very creative techniques like no other. I know never to miss your videos. Love it, keep it up !! Liked
Thank you so much, DreamSilverFox!! So glad you liked it, and really appreciate the comment!
Nice trick! Another hidden property of the Morph transition.
Thank you! Indeed it is - Morph is a tool of wizardry.
wonderful as always!!! I'm your biggest fan and you never let me down.
That's so nice, thank you! So glad you enjoyed the video.
Hello Spice, very good and interesting video. What I could have done with was the map video, although I have found something that is the next best thing. Keep up the good work.
Ok great! The map video uses the same principle of cropping and moving the crop. Also a great effect though it glad you found something that works!
@@powerpointspice Are you kidding me ? Found something that works ! I am 'en route' to becoming your biggest fan. Keep up the excellent work.
A cordial greeting. I celebrate his return to the channel with this new video. I have a feeling of gratitude to you for letting us know and creatively handle these tools. I hope you and yours are doing well with this pandemic. I am tempted to new videos. greetings from Colombia, South America.
Hi Pablo - thanks for the note, and for continuing to watch my channel! Hope you are staying safe and well too - what a crazy time this is for everyone. This is definitely a great and versatile trick - perfect for engaging audiences in this often virtual-first environment!
At first I couldn't figure it out but on close examination of your instructions I got it to work. Now to come up with a cool effect for the intro to a video. Thanks for the leason.
Super! It's a little tricky but worth it (and pretty easy) once you get it the first time. Thanks for trying it out, HyborianAge!
cool. i did it. thanks for your works. it really usefull to teach my student.
Perfect - thanks for letting me know, Ferdinand - I always love to hear success stories!
Thanks for notifing me!
You are more than welcome, Jennylene - thanks for watching!
nice work and skills in ppt. keep it up.
Thanks so much!
Great
Thanks!!
This is awesome ;-)
Thank you so much!
Looking forward to the series!! I’ve heard Richard Goring explain this live (at TrainMag) but he always goes so fast it’s hard to keep up.
He's the greatest, isn't he? Such an inspiration! He has so many other ideas for this too - like the eyeglasses / blur effect, which is really neat. I'm not sure if you saw Part 2, but it's out. Slowly building it out!

well i have tried to get this effect from your training and direct from the website you got it from but i can not get it working .i notice on the screen you have animations already on your photos before you start could you have forgotton some part .be nice to see what others have done .up date now have it working .very clever i love your station .many thanks for this .
Hi there - you can try the file from the download link I provided in the description. It has the exact same photos I used. Others who have followed the instructions in the video were able to do it, so not sure what may be the issue. Here is another video with this trick - maybe it will help for a different angle on it? ua-cam.com/video/alEzTFR6yAk/v-deo.html
I've tried to figure this out. I'm looking forward to a more detailed video for dummies like me.
Hmmmm have you seen my Part 2 on this? It may be a little more digestible: ua-cam.com/video/alEzTFR6yAk/v-deo.html
Hi there, I clicked on the link to get your slices from your tutorials but it failed. Can you help me?
Can you do an AR tutorial using the Eyejack app please? Im trying to make instax photos kind of move like in the Harry Potter movies where their portraits move like videos. I was about to try using HP reveal but some say it doesnt work anymore. It would be cool if you make a tutorial in the future :>
Yep, I actually have one exactly on that in the works - probably my next tutorial!
I was hoping for part 3 of the 3D model animation series. Are we ever going to get that? :-)
Haha one day! The challenge for me is that Microsoft is not prioritizing 3D as much as I thought they would be, as so few people are using 3D. So I've been focusing on other stuff, but definitely want to get back to that one day. BAsically the program you use is 3D viewer from the Microsoft App store. You can play with any 3D model you like in augmented reality.
@@powerpointspice I agree that Microsoft aren't prioritizing 3D, but I must say that part of the reason is that they didn't market Remix 3D very well, let alone get the word far enough out, hence why they ended up cancelling it this January. Personally, I prefer 3D Builder, available from the Microsoft Store, because it lets you take a mathematical approach to building complex models, instead of forcing you to eyeball everything and hope that it turns out right.
Speaking of spicy PowerPoint tricks though, have you ever attempted to create something like this? It's an overlay based video accessibility filter tool that I made using nothing but PowerPoint 2019's built in 2D shapes and animation effects, with triggers that let you control, combine, and customize them on demand! (This is an anti spam link.) photos. app. goo. gl/ hzYDVJxhCpfCKvjj7
Where did you find the stock photo for the bodies? I'm having trouble finding the other versions.
I got it on Freepik.com - I have the file you can practice with in the description as well.
Cet version pas ppt 2016 ?
This Good For Me Because I am In a Medical Field (Paramedic) Excellent
Perfect - glad it was a good fit for your needs, Fares. This is indeed extremely relevant for that.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHICH FONT IS THIS ???
please anyone reply i have to submit it tomorrow.
Can I do this in PowerPoint 2013?
No you need the morph transition, available in later versions.
Lol, yeah this good..
Thank you, Chundy!
