I used a Macbook trackpad for so many years that I couldn't use a mouse with as much accuracy. Then after 6 months or so using the trackpad on a desk, I switched to the MX Master when all-day use started hurting my hand. It's too big to position below the keyboard, like it is on a laptop. My space gray trackpad does look great on my desktop, but I turned it off months ago, and it's probably time to go up on eBay. The only thing I miss are the gestures on the trackpad, the MX just doesn't do them as well.
@@Vomelo Looks good next to the Logitech MX Keys too. A better value for a keyboard - especially if you want keys that light up. No touch ID like the new Magic keyboard though.
I went for a magic trackpad 2 with my brand new Macbook (I can't work with the laptop's trackpad in the way) and I'm concerned about the ergonomics of the product. I mean, sure, it's a beautiful product, but the lack of hand support is going to kill me on the long run. I think I'll probably sell it for a MX Master 3S
Do you find the clicks on the trackpad are higher pitched/louder than the one in the MacBook? I didn’t think I’d care but it makes me appreciate the quietness if the MacBook more .
Enjoy your videos having watched many of them. I think your conclusion on this one is a bit off base. Yes, if you can only afford one or the other, get the MX Master 3. But most serious Mac users will want, and make good use of, both. I do, all day every day, and one assumes you do as well?

There are just some things you cannot do with a regular mouse that the trackpad make so much easier.... i use both at the same time. a trackpad and a basic gaming mouse
Smooth scroll sucks with logitech drivers! T650 / T651 / M570 / MX-S2 / MX revolution the drivers in MacOS / Win11 it all judder ! Trackpad of the macbook is smooth, logitech not !
