I told my wife before we dated that the ocean came first. I tried to explain my surfing like another woman that I’d never leave. She was really ok with it, but 13 years later she still doesn’t really understand that surfing is who I am what I think and dream about and all I want to do. It’s a struggle sometimes, but she still puts up with me.
My uncle has one of those paddle boards, they are so gnarly and fun. He shreds it, a water lover who swims in the mid of winter in his budgie smugglers. Takes the paddle board out during summer beach sessions.
