VSCO girls are the daughters of Valley Girls. They still want high end items but want socially responsible fashion, earth friendly and fem supportive. But still expensive.
In the summer of 2019 lots of kids shared their vacation photos on VSCO. The style they happened to be wearing at that time was then seen all over the app. The look became became known as VSCO, synonymous with the app. Lots of additional stuff has grown up around it, but it’s basically the way kids were dressing on vacation during the summer of 2019.

Seth was wearing a Fjallraven flannel in a recent video, so I'm glad he could *almost* pronounce it correctly! J makes a Y sound in Swedish (fyall-raven), but "Fallraven" is acceptable. Bonus points for using the Swedish vowels (fyell-reh-ven)!
If you're reading this, I need you to know: the Meyers-Briggs test was made by two amateurs with no psychometric or psychological training, and it's currently being administered by employers in hiring decisions, without consulting an expert.
Why? I dunno, man. I guess because God looked at his sinful creation and abandoned us to a world where your boss can fire you because he doesn't like your Hogwarts house, and that's a bummer.

Actually it is based on the research and theories of Dr. Karl Jung, a highly influential and game changing psychologist, who observed personality types and named 4 distinct area of human focus: thinking, feeling, judging and processing. He then framed those types in introverted or extraverted manifestations.
Sure, the idea was based in Jung's work. But that's like me saying "I've noticed some kids are better at math than others. I made a test to measure that: The longer they can hold their breath, the better they are at math."
Neither Myers nor Briggs were educated in psychology, and their test is RIDDLED with issues.
It is pseudoscience with remarkably good PR and real-world consequences.
I, uh, have an advanced degree in this.
Its based off of jungian archetypes which are pretty well accepted. The 16 types arent scientific but the archetypes ARE.
Jung asked them to stop using his name. They did it anyway. None of the psychologists on the company’s board endorse or use it. It’s 100% bullshit. But fun for people I guess?
