Surprisingly, even though I own many laptops, the LG Gram 17 is my go to, both for normal usage as well as a thin client to remote to other machines. Absolute sleeper! Love it!

I've had an LG Gram 17" for years. Love it. I travel the world and take this with me in my backpack. Can't imagine traveling with any other laptop. It's worked flawlessly. I don't game so I have no need for those processes on graphics. If I had to replace this, I order another, again, with an OLED screen.

No it's not. I am using an lg gram 15. Keyboard keys fell off. Keyboard itself is pain to type. So it's barely used. Speakers are terrible. Used it with headphones 90% of the time even I am alone at home. Screen quality is half decent it's a just 1080p.

Except they have integrated ram. If they want to keep it thin, have side slots instead of slots soldered directly onto the board lol and based on teardown pics, they got the room to move things around a little and accommodate that. It's just pretty annoying have no ability to upgrade or change your ram if it goes bad.
Except for it doesn't work like that, the RAM must stay in the motherboard, not mounted on the side lol
The fact they're soldering it is to make you spend more money for a new PC in the future instead of just upgrading that component obviously, but you cannot expect to mount it in another place

The MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro or Max, which is basically the same thickness, hits significantly higher fps than the Core Ultra 7 + RTX 3050 at every single game natively supported by macOS. It also outperforms the RTX 3050 in every single GPU benchmark by miles. You should really do basic research before commenting nonsense.
