Subtract that fumble and make the kick to make Vikings 5-1, would you honestly still say zim has to go? The Lions thought the same say when they got rid of Jim Caldwell. One of the very few eras the Lions ever felt relevant. Look at them since. I'd hate to be reminded what the Vikings were without one amazing Brett favre year (2009) and record setting Adrian Peterson year (2012)

Zimmer is just an embarrassment of a head coach. We barely squeezed the win out of this game, and it shouldn't have been close. ALWAYS play like you're behind, even if you have a lead. Extend the lead, not defend it. The Vikings would do well to hire someone like Kellen Moore as their new head coach next season. That man knows how to properly call plays on offense.

The further into the season we get and the more I see games like this every week, you realize how many great teams there are out there losing close games like this with records of 2 and 4, and 3 and 3 but are actually really good teams. A lot of these games since week 1 have been amazing and come down to the wire like this game. The NFL is amazing to watch right now.
You win in OT with a TD! saints dont understand this. Vikings total sacks last season 23 so far this year 21 week 6. Same kurt cousins different O line and different defense. Will see when big game comes along if giving that much money (twice) has earned us anything. Usually you dont pay soneone to earn something though.

But I’m specifically talking about the defense recently… they have allowed teams to throw and run all over them…. A completely different performance from the first 2 weeks. @Mark Taylor You are right. There is plenty of blame to go around. Kicking in particular has been just awful. Zimmer has to stop playing so conservatively. Almost losing to Detroit at home was pretty sad.

Vikings are actually good. Mike zimmer is just so conservative that he allows every team they play to get back in the game. Vikings could just as easily be 6-0. A fumble against the bengals in overtime lost game 1. A missed game winning field goal against the cardinals cost game 2. And bad play calling cost game 3 against the browns in a close game.
