You did a good tutorial. I would just suggest you give a stitch count of the rows as u go. Ex: row 1= 12 st row 2 increase = 24st row 3 increase= 36st etc. You are beautiful & your work is as beautiful as you. Thank you for sharing. I will use your concept & possibly modify it to make the straps thicker

I tried, used 4.5 hook and my hat was huge I did lots of decreases and it was still too large, so, my hat is now a big basket.....
