Gotta admit, ever since the excerpt for Thunder came out, I was dead certain that this Ultimate Guide will also include Squirrelflight's leadership ceremony (before I only speculated that they might put it there instead of Thunder's prologue) ^^; Felt it would be fitting with Bramblestar being there too. So the table of contents was a bit disappointing to me. (Still, I'm convinced Squirrelflight will become a leader, the authors are just screwing with us which I respect xD They'll probably put the ceremony in the next Super Edition's prologue or a novella at some point). I find those mistakes with the colorings a bit weird, you'd think it's because of laziness but wouldn't it have been easier and required less work to copy those from the official side? Anyway, I wasn't really looking forward to the new Ultimate Guide that much, so whatever. I'm only really interested in the new cats and a few from the old one, hoping to see some changes (like since Leopardstar's Honor we know Leopardstar didn't join TigerClan because she "was in love with Tigerstar", so hopefully her page will amend that! Side note, Tigerstar flirting with cat named so much like his mother and hating his father means he might have had Oedipus Complex ;p), plus the additional content, always glad for more Bramblestar, plus will be fun to see how "life" in StarClan looks. SO glad that there's no Moonlight (aka worst leader in this series) or Sisters, I really can't stand them with their cult and their sense of superiority :eyeroll: Weird to see WindClan having so few cats, I would have thought Whitetail and Barkface would have been included, and maybe Kestrelflight, heck, I would say they are more deserving to be there than Harestar, feel like they were better flashed out in the books xD Also RiverClan should have had more cats, my 3rd favorite character Mudfur definitely, he had such an amazing life, why is he not included?! Also, seriously, that spoiled daddy's princess Silverstream is there but not Willowshine?! Oh, and as for WindClan POV for arc 9, I suspect you might get your wish. If they continue having 3 POVs per arc, I'm guessing one of them will be Birchkit (which I am very unhappy about, not only I am personally sick and tired of Tigerstar and Dovewing, I think ShadowClan had been flashed out enough those past 3 arcs, I would rather we moved away from them; ironically, if what I have been praying happens - Tigerstar gets voted out of leader position due to the RiverClan mess - then it's assured Birchkit will be POV, to show how life looks like for that privileged family), a ThunderClan cat, most likely one of Spotfur's kits (which I hope will be a medicine cat apprentice, cause Jayfeather mentoring Alderheart and getting annoyed was hilarious and I want to see that again!), and the third one would be from one of the other 3 Clans, and with SkyClan having Rootspring in TBC and now RiverClan having Frostpaw in ASC, it would be only fair if in 9th arc we go to WindClan. As for who could it be... well, Frostpaw came out of the blue, not being related to any of the previously important RiverClan characters (as of River, there are no living relatives of past 4 leaders of RiverClan, which I find very sad :/), so same could happen here. Alternatively, Breezepelt and Heathertail could have another litter... or Harestar could have kits, flashing out his character more in the process. Maybe he would be mates with one of Breezepelt's daughters? Anyway, the 5th book of this arc will be Wind, so perhaps during it we'll get a guess to who that could be. Anyway, great video, can't wait for you to talk about Thunder^^
I think I'm gonna get both of the guides, the old one and the new one just because of possibly incorrect information and a few removed cats. Also, I like the thought of having both. :D
I already have the first from a birthday gift, but I still think that getting the second would be good. It’ll have more cats and probably more correct information. I have a LIST of all the mistakes in the guide, that’s how… special it is-

Yeah, the original version has stories that show Tigerclaw and Brambleclaw’s leadership ceremonies. This new version has a one-page thing of Bramblestar giving his thoughts on the changes to the warrior code, and one new short story about Firestar and Graystripe in StarClan where they see a couple scenes (one is about Dove/Ivy, one is about Alderheart and Twigbranch during the impostor’s rule, and one is about Skystar).
Despite all the reused content, I'm still excited. I hope what new stuff we do get is good.
