To those who say that this song is misplaced here because 2 seconds ago, the prince was saying he didn’t want to get married like his dad wanted so he shouldn’t be singing a song about wanting to find love now and they should have picked another song. But I’d say, this is more a matter of interpretation and so this song is not necessarily misplaced here Here’s how i see things At this point of the story, it seems that the prince can no longer avoid getting married, even if he doesn’t want to. But to be honest, it seemed to me that what repulsed him was not so much the idea of marriage itself than the idea of getting married *without love* as it seemed it was gonna happen, since there was really very little chance for him to meet the love of his life after one ball ! (let’s remember that if he hadn’t personally asked her, Cinderella would probably not have gone to the ball) So in my opinion, he sang that song in perticular because since the process of getting married was unavoidable, he hoped that at least, his marriage could be with someone he would love. But for that, he first needed to meet the love of his life and that still hadn’t happened then. So he sings that song because at that moment in perticular, he needed to « find somebody to love », *right now* so that his very-soon-to-happen marriage could at least be with someone he would be happy to marry. And this is also why Cinderella appears just before the end of the song : he finally found somebody to love as he asked ! That’s how I interpret the placement of this song here, so I think it’s actually fitting here !
He is no Adam Lambert but he is very good singer. Ive been following his career for years and its nice he is finally getting attention. he is a multitalent and deserves it.

This whole movie was very Shrek-like in its many unexpected anachronisms and its wonderful imagination!

this movie was sarcastic, lighthearted, and a little bit chaotic, I LOVE IT. Also the prince is portrayed as an idiot in the start but we see him get out of that image by the end. he is so sarcastic and extra in this scene, and then he gradually mellowed down (and actually starts to use his brain) as he gets to know Ella.
Why did it took us so long to notice him, he has done pretty great movies and and a really good (cancelled) series. Don't miss him in Bottoms, he is amazing. His first comedy!!! Go, Nicholas, Go!!!

He had to act not singing well in RWARB because Prince Henry is supposed to not be able to sing, and in the original book murders the song in the karaoke (and also because he is drunk, of course) But you cannot totally disguise that you have an exceptional singing voice, as August Moon demonstrated.
