No I won’t tell a life story but I wish I could’ve gotten more background on these characters but I did still love everything else and the whole lesson of acceptance and I can understand this is a bit of before 2000 where I suppose people were hard with accepting others but just this song is amazing
For how amazing this is it pales in comparison to the run through clip. Where the amazing actress finally comes out of her shell and absolutely OWNS the room….. It is genuinely the absolute embodiment of the spirit of the song. She was so frightened that she refuses to come out from behind her podium at first but the lyrics and support in the room carries her up and out….
This one is one f the few songs that gives me confidence that I am perfect just the way I am, even with how messed up of a life I have. It doesn't matter what type of a life I've lived - I can still make it through with confidence because I don't need anybody. I can make it on my own.
