    I’m always so impressed by your keyboard skills. I’d love to hear an album of your music in a sort of synthwave meets classic style. Maybe not full-on Wendy Carlos, but instrumental synth music with chord progressions informed by your classical chops. I have a feeling the results would be pretty awesome! :)

    Sooo liberating having these tutorials on how to make synth sounds man. I've been through hundreds of presets that I just don't quite like the sound of, and I know what sound I want in my head... with this, I now feel empowered to be able to create exactly what is in my brain. THANK YOU!

    I was following your video and applying your words to reality, and I managed to create kind of a realistic brass/brass using Corpus (ableton stock plugin). set "pipe" as the resonator and tweaked a little. i'm impressed
    thank you !!

    Ha! So i've been searching the internet and asking for help on how to create Jai Paul-type "brass pads" to no avail. This might be the best starting point I've found yet! Great tutorial. :)

    As much as I love these videos. I could just listen/watch you play for an hour improvising in a simple saw wave
    What scales are you typically using in this video? Or are you all over the place. Sounds almost renaissance at times.

    Hey guys, so i just have a question. The way my analog synth sounds is different to yours. When i started pressing keys, it sounded different to how yours was set up in the beginning of the video. Can you please explain how i can get my Analog synth to sound like yours? All i did was drag analog to my session view.

  • @jimmygray3452

    Would there be other options to emulate more of a true analog sound using this plugin (or similar plugins) by, for instance, routing the output through using analog EQs via an audio interface with an analog mixer, etc?

    • @jimmygray3452
      @jimmygray3452 4 роки тому

      Also, assuming Ableton's plugin can do something like analog voice modeling to simulate voice instability, or make use of "slop" to simulate overall VCO instability.

    • @Ferrichrome
      @Ferrichrome 4 роки тому +1

      In the settings page of the synth you can set the "error" factor to simulate VCO drift. It makes it so some notes are a bit out of tune, depending on the setting.

    Great!!!! I really enjoyed this video, as some others said already. Nice piano fingers. What's your story before synths?

  • @DevashishGuptaOfficial

    The long release times kinda muddle the low end, when you change chords. Enjoyed the sound design process though! Thanks.

    When running a lot of scenes (songs in this case) with different analog patches on every song, does it make sense to use one instance of analog and automate changes in the sound?
    Or is it not worth the effort to save CPU? Now I'm using one instance for every song

    Hey man could use zoom in on the synth a little. Like half of you and half synth even would be nice! I have bad internet and its hard to see like everyone else. Thanks for the great vid!
