I use Oregon nylon cord magnum gatorline.17. Since it is a type that can be cut and used, the cutting width can be expanded. Equipped with a next-generation 4-cycle engine (25.4cc), the Purple Monster brush cutter can crush grass with a wider cutting width than the brush cutter in the video. When I actually used it, I was surprised at how easy it was to use.
I use Oregon 4mm Flexiblade in a DR wheeled strimmer and although it's more expensive than standard strimmer line it lasts way longer, so there's less downtime fitting new lines. I didn't know about the Oregon Jet Fit head, thanks for the 'heads up'😊 gonna get one 'cos when my bump-head needs a bump there's usually nothing around to bump it on. Frustrating.
Hello, Honda should produce a 3-4 horsepower brushcutter. Umk450 is a good machine but it has only 2 horsepower, you need more power. I love fourstroke engine because they don't burn gasoline and oil but only gasoline and they don't produce fumes like two stroke engine. Do you try in the future STIHL fs561 brushcutter? It has a lot of power 3.8 horsepower while your Honda 50cc It has only 2 hp. Good video.
Ive been using a jetfit 4 line head on my husqvarna 555rxt this weekend after the t55x trimmer head exploded on Saturday just after my local dealer closed. I was doing really heavy matted grass. Tried using 2 lines @ the 560mm guard width and that was pretty good. Then in the heavier stuff used 4 lines at around 45cm cut width it worked well but i found went from dragging the machine down to wearing till it was over revving to quickly. Of course i gave it mechanical sympathy on the throttle but i thought a bit wastful as had to change the strings with quite a lot of length left to maintain productivity. So unless you had a smaller machine with a 2 line jet head to use up the shorter bits it is quite wasteful. But insanely strong stuff ! Only other thing i found was i needed a pliers to get the old lines out as the 555s power really locked them in
Thank you for this explanation. This information is helping me a lot. thank you!!
Glad I could help

@@WoolysWorld Try the red techni-blade - 7.0 mm x 26 cm for the thick vegetation. Best i know. good vid
''Fire it up! Fire it up!'' From The Crow made in 1994.
My man!! Crow
I just ordered a roll of that 4mm flexy blade I'm in Australia so will take awhile but so excited
It's great stuff
I’ll be getting this system! Now if we can just find something to stop getting grass wrapped around the top of the head! I hate that.
man its so handy

That's good to know, thanks you
Why Honda 450 doesn´t rev up more, yours are slowing down to easey, i will wait for a more powerful Honda 4 stroke!
Yes, not a great machine
@@WoolysWorld Perhaps its possible to tune the engine up to more power, somebody out there that knows how to do it?
@mikaelnilsson944 there has to be a way , all engines can be tuned I think
Can it take circular line? 4mm
Unsure of that , It takes starline, it's fairly smooth
@@WoolysWorld thanks. I'll buy it I reckon
One more question... If you have four lines on it and one breaks, does it cause much vibration?
I find that they don't break, kind of wear down , if that makes sense
It's great, you can get a two line one for smaller strimmers, I'll never go back to bumb feed
Awesome, you could buy goats...?
goats would eat everything including my trees, and my neighbours wouldn't be to happy
Can you give us a link where did you buy your Honda GX 50 brush cutter

What line were you using?
They upgraded the package. You now need a damn knife to get the Jet-fit out of the box.
Ah man , I'm always struggling with packaging
It’s either closed or broken 😞!
Lol
