Hey Eustace the Mountain man had a Oregon Barin his saw today, so what can you say LOL. You always make me chuckle when you rev the battery saws before the cut, It has to be done
3rd. Gen arborist here. there is no difference at all in the nano and the husky bar they are exactly the same. I have them sitting right here in front of me. there exactly the same pitch, gauge, length , etc. Husky used to have different size a few years ago. but now no difference.
You seem to be the guy to ask I see oregon has 2 kinds of packaging for the same chain there the same model but different packaging like the ones at Lowes and Home Depot vs the ones that are on Oregon's website is there a difference in quality ? like maybe the ones sold in the box stores are made cheaper ?
@@MachineryNation Ya it could be just packaging. You know how big companies are they look at pennies. I can compare next time I buy with some I already have.
Myself on the MSA300 with Light 04 16" I went for the 18", on the 220C I went from 16" to Light 04 14" and on the 161T I went from 25cm to 30cm, I am not an expert but feels like I got better performance now.
How were you able to run one of these bars in a msa300? I’m trying to figure out how to run a narrower chain on this saw. ..but the bar mount on the 300 is larger studs and I don’t think any of these bars will fit?
The thing that is frustrating about the Husqvarna is that the chain does not have a compatible sthil 2 in 1 sharpening tool so you have to revert to the old method of having two different tools to sharpen the chain that’s my only gripe. Next time I have to buy a bar and a chain I may choose the Oregon, just for the fact that it might be compatible with the sthil two in one sharpening tool.
Just hand file, jesus…its a 12-14” chain…that 2 in 1 is garbage…rakers need to be filed specific to the tooth…the teeth dont wear evenly and also dont need to be filed every sharpenimg…its a garbage tool..so be thankful the nanomchain isnt compatible
Yer the 194 gets chatter. So rekon thats the go 1/4 pitch can be bit small. N not alota sharpens on it. Thanks im a fan. Altho find still chain lasts best just me thanks.
I think that Husky came with the speedcut nano stock, as in you just swapped it out to the same set up. Probably why you only saw a difference on the Stihl.
Great comparison. Thanks James!
Thank you Stella 🤩

Great video James! Thinking I have to get this for my Stihl 194T
Great choice Garrett, they will fit them 👍🏼
Can you see if this kit will work on the milwaukee Top handle. Would love to know
I will check it out 👍🏼
Saw it at the equip expo
The Milwaukee is already running this chain.
Husky tested with speedcut nano vs speedcut nano 😜
😉 funny how they came out the same speed 😂

some knots in the wood for the battery speedcut nano cuts which slowed it i think
Hi James, would you recommend the speedcut nano on a rear handle saw or is it specifically for top handle saws? I have a Husqvarna 540i xp.
For rear handle saw too!
The spout nano and the husky precision bar. Is the same bar
Looks pretty impressive on both saws
Cheers Al 👌🏽
Nice One James that saw horse looks a bit flimsy 😃 nice test thanks again
Yeah I prefer the one we made and Max welded up, it’s a bit more me!
@@MachineryNation That one looks indestructible
How about a review video on saw horses ?
Please comment about the bars speedcut, versacut and controlcut it's looks very similars and we don't know wich one we must offer or use.
Nice vid mate
Cheers Stuart 🤩
Do you hawe a any chain sharpenig tool
We are planning a video soon on different chainsaw sharpening.

Spot on! Was it unnecessary for him to change the sprocket on the t540i?
Yes unnecessary. Changed from a 7-tooth sprocket to a 7-tooth sprocket. 😂
@@Silver_1good observation!👍
Not only is the bar and sprocket the same, the chain is the exact chain also
I will take your word James, i would have to purchase one and if i don't like them am stuck with it 🤣, anway you do great reviews, 👌
Thanks Nev 👍🏼
I need a new chainsaw especially one that cuts like that very nice sir 👍
Like a knife through butter 🥳
Not bad..... not bad at all. 🙂👍
Thank you John 😎
Anytime 👊

@@dkat1108 I believe they updated their packaging not so long ago, so still older stock in the market, so doubt there is any difference 👍🏼

Stihl worked on PS 3 Pro?

The downside of narrow kerf chains is the teeth break off easily.
Run that bar on my Tophandle saws, better Performance even on my old 193T and 200T
You interested in selling that 200?👀👀
@@himhim3344 no, its mine and will always be mine. The old 200 T is one of the best saws ever made.

I need a stihl chainsaw my echo broke
Everything should come with a sticker
I really can't decide on electric chainsaws! :/
I like having both 👍🏼😎
Chain and bar 12ich only l need so rate
Wow no difference. I cut trees n prefer a chain that's going to last. Nano or pico chains wear out rather quickly n more expensive
No complete. Chain and bar 12ich only l need
